Introduction 2. Overview This operation manual describes the operation of installation for the drivers. This drivers are used by GPRS-Wizard and NMS. You need to install the NEC Mobile drivers before you use GPRS-Wizard or MemoryEditor. 3. System Requirements System requirements for installation of the drivers are shown in below. Items CPU Memory Disk Space OS Screen Resolution Interface with PC 4. 5. Installation Preparation Requirements Pentium3 500MHz or more Minimum required by the operating system 20 Mbytes or more 2000 Professional SP4 / XP SP1 (Professional/ Home edition) More than 800 x 600 USB port 1) Turn off the mobile phone and disconnect the PC link cable. 2) Insert CD-ROM into CD-ROM device. 3) Choose the folder of CD-ROM device on file explore. 4) When click setup, the setup program starts, and then the installation of the drivers starts. 6. Install start 1) The CHOOSE LANGUAGE window is displayed, choose language, and click OK. Fig. 2-2 Preparing Installation window 3) This is confirmation dialog Check your GPRS Phone is unplugged from PC and Click OK to continue. Fig. 2-5 Software License Agreement window 6) This is the START COPYING FILES window. Confirm the settings, and then click Next> to continue. Please turn on the mobile phone and connect the cable to PC and mobile phone. ! If you have not installed the USB driver, PC starts the USB driver installation. Please wait for installation end. Un_Installation Un_Install the modem drivers 1) Insert CD-ROM into CD-ROM device. 2) Choose the folder of CD-ROM device on file explore. 3) When click setup, the setup program starts, and then the un_installation of the drivers starts. 10.
