Introduction
Introduction
Model number: Nokia N70-5 Hereinafter referred to as Nokia N70. Your Nokia N70 is a powerful, intelligent multimedia device. There are various applications provided by Nokia and different third-party software developers to help you do more with your Nokia N70. Some of the applications provided are on the Reduced-Size MultiMediaCard (memory card), and some are on the CD-ROM supplied with the device. Availability of the applications may vary according to your country or sales area. To use some applications, you must accept the applicable licence terms. Throughout this document, icons indicate if the application is available on the memory card ( ) or CD-ROM ( ). Note: If you remove the memory card, the applications installed on the memory card cannot be used. Reinsert the memory card to access the applications. Note: You must install the applications on the CD-ROM to a compatible PC before using them.
Network services
To use the phone you must have service from a wireless service provider. Many of the features in this device depend on features in the wireless network to function. These network services may not be available on all networks or you may have to make specific arrangements with your service provider before you can utilize network services. Your service provider may need to give you additional instructions for their use and explain what charges will apply. Some networks may have limitations that affect how you can use network services. For instance, some networks may not support all language-dependent characters and services.

Applications provided by third-party software developers are supported by these developers. If you experience problems with an application, obtain support from the relevant Web site. See the Web links at the end of each application in this guide.

KODAK Mobile Service
KODAK Mobile allows you to save images and videos at www.kodakmobile.com, and order prints for home delivery or share images using the browser in your device. Note: This application is only available in a limited number of languages. Press , and select Imaging > KODAK Mobile. To use the KODAK Mobile Service, you must have an access point that allows you to connect to the Internet configured in your device. For more information on access points, see the user guide of your device.
Files saved in the KODAK Mobile Service are automatically placed in an album that you can view at www.kodakmobile.com using the Web browser in your device or on a compatible PC. Images and videos that are successfully saved are marked with the Kodak "K" in the list.
Create a KODAK Mobile Service account
To make a connection to the KODAK Mobile Service, you are asked to select an access point to connect to the Internet. To change the access point later, select Options > Settings. When you have connected to the Internet, you are asked to sign-in to the service using an existing KODAK Mobile Service, Kodak EasyShare Gallery, or Ofoto.com account. If you do not have an account, you may register for a new one. 1 Enter your phone number (including your international country code) and a password. If you are signing in to an existing account, you are also asked to enter your e-mail address.
Save images and videos
Scroll through the list, and press to mark the currently selected image or video. To unmark an item, press on a marked item. When all the images and videos you want to save are marked, select Options > Save. The items are uploaded to the KODAK Mobile Service; see "Create a KODAK Mobile Service account," p 5.
2 Select your mobile network operator from the list.
Your images and videos are saved to the KODAK Mobile Service. On subsequent connections you are automatically connected to your account.

Order prints
Mark the images you want to print. When all images you want are marked, select Options > Order prints. The items are saved to the KODAK Mobile Service at www.kodakmobile.com. To complete the details of your print order, connect to the KODAK Mobile Service using the browser in your device. For security reasons, you may be asked to enter the phone number (including your international country code) and password you provided when you created your account. Prints ordered through the KODAK Mobile Service are printed on Kodak paper and delivered to your home.
If you fail to save your images or videos, check your account information on the KODAK Mobile Service Web site at www.kodakmobile.com using your PC Web browser. Ensure your mobile phone number, e-mail, and password are correct. Save again, and attempt to correct any errors you may have found. If you still are not able to connect to the KODAK Mobile Service, confirm with your operator that your mobile device data services work properly. You must have a data subscription that allows you to access the Internet.

You can change how and where items are automatically saved on the KODAK Mobile Service Web site. To make a change, visit www.kodakmobile.com using your PC Web browser, and select the Mobile Upload Albums section of My Account. You can find more information on the KODAK Mobile Service online Web site. Visit www.kodakmobile.com using your compatible PC or device. If you experience problems with the KODAK Mobile Service, visit www.nokia.kodakmobile.com/PSHelp.jsp. Support is also available by sending an e-mail to support@kodakmobile.com.
Share
Mark the images you want to share with your friends and family, and select Options > Share. Enter e-mail addresses or select e-mail addresses saved in contacts. The photos are saved to the KODAK Mobile Service, and an e-mail invitation to view the items in the service is sent to the e-mail addresses you entered.
Troubleshooting
Remember to provide your international country code when signing in to the KODAK Mobile Service.

Symantec Mobile Security
Symantec Mobile Security is a security solution for mobile devices that combines antivirus and firewall protection and is designed to protect your device against harmful content and malicious attacks Note: This application is only available in a limited number of languages. To install the application, press , and select Office and the Symantec Mobile Security installation file. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation. The application is installed in the Office folder. The application is a trial version. The trial period begins when you install Symantec Mobile Security. To continue using the application after the trial period, use the LiveUpdate service to buy a product update, and follow the instructions on the screen. The application runs in the background while you use your device, and automatically scans files for viruses when they are received. To manually scan your device, select Options > Scan. If an infected file is found, a note is displayed, and you can select what to do with the file.
