Change ringtones on your phone, send them to your friends or add them as personal ringtones to your phonebook contacts. With themes you can change the colours and wallpapers, and make the appearance of the display unique for your phone. Explore new levels, challenge your friends or just challenge yourself with new and exciting games. Press the navigation key right. } Before you start Before you can use this functionality, please make sure that your subscription supports Internet, and that your Internet settings are saved in your phone. Automatic Internet settings can be downloaded from www.sonyericsson.com/support. 2 February 2007 Getting started Downloading content to the phone Downloading a ringtone If supported by your network operator, you can use direct links for downloading content to File manager. To download using a direct link 1. 2. 3. 4. From standby select Menu } File manager } Sounds. Select the link to the Web page and select Go to. Your phone connects to the Web page. Follow the download instructions on the page. Download the ringtone. Information about the download is shown on the screen. If there is not enough memory to save the ringtone in your phone, you are notified and the download stops. 5. When the download is completed select More } Exit browser. The downloaded ringtone is saved in your phone. 6. To use the downloaded file as a ringtone, from standby select Menu } File manager } Sounds. Scroll to the downloaded ringtone and select More } Use as } Ringtone. To free memory you need to remove files from your phone % 5 Memory information. Enter your registration information and log in. Follow the download instructions on the page. Download the game or application. Information about the download is shown on the screen. If there is not enough memory to save the game or application in your phone, you are notified and the download stops. 6. When the download is completed select More } Exit browser. The downloaded game or application is saved in your phone. 7. To use the downloaded game or application, from standby select Menu } File manager and select Games or Applications. Select the downloaded game or application. To free memory you need to remove files from your phone % 5 Memory information. Using PlayNowTM With the PlayNowTM service, you can listen to music tones and ringtones before you decide to purchase and download them to your phone. Each music tone is part of an original song and is optimized for your Sony Ericsson mobile phone. You can also download games with the PlayNowTM service. Purchase details The total price for the download is the price appearing on the screen when you select to download and save. Your phone bill or prepay phone card will be charged by your network operator after the purchase. By agreeing to purchase a music tone, ringtone or game using your phone, you agree to accept these conditions and the terms and conditions provided in the phone kit. Before you start Before you can purchase and listen to music using the PlayNowTM service, make sure that: · You have a phone subscription that supports GPRS data transmission. · You may also have to register as an Internet user with your service provider or network operator. · You have free memory in your phone. 4 February 2007 Getting started Downloading content to the phone Accessing the PlayNowTM list To access the PlayNowTM list 1. 2. 3. 4. From standby select Menu } PlayNowTM. Select a music tone or ringtone to listen to or a game to download. Accept the purchase details and select Yes to download. You will receive a text message confirming that it is paid for and made available. The downloaded file is automatically saved in Sounds or Games in your phone. The service may not always be available in all countries/regions or when you are using a network other than your network operator. A message will appear to inform you of this when you select PlayNowTM. Memory information To view memory status 1. From standby select Menu } File manager and select a tab. 2. Select More } Memory status. To free memory in the phone or on the memory card 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. From standby select Menu } File manager. Select the On Memory Stick tab or the In phone tab. Select More } Memory status. Scroll to a folder } Open. Scroll to a file and select Delete. To format the memory card 1. From standby select Menu } File manager and select the On Memory Stick tab. 2. Select More } Format M.S. } Yes to delete all information on the memory card.
