Before you start
In order to send and receive email messages, you need the following: · A phone subscription that supports data transmission. Check with your network operator. · An email account (POP3 or IMAP4). If you are going to use an email account included in your subscription, check with your network operator. Otherwise, check with your separate email service provider. · A data account (WAP configuration) set up in your phone. A simple way of setting up a data account is to ask your network operator to send you a message that contains the required information to create an account automatically in your mobile phone. If you do not have a data account in your phone, you can use the Phone setup on www.sonyericsson.com/support to have all necessary WAP settings sent to your phone in a text message (SMS). To set up a data account manually % 4 Enter settings manually. Settings for email may already be entered when you buy your phone. If not, make sure you have your network operator and/or service provider subscription information at hand before you start setting up your email.
