CT-1 Copythis Frequently Asked Questions Q.) What is the difference between the CT-1 & CT-2? A.)CT-1 (CopyThis) was designed for transferring VHS to DVD or VHS to VHS. This product is less expensive next to are CT-2 product for consumers only needing to transfer their home VHS library onto DVD. Q.) What is the knob on top of the CT-1? How do I use it? A.) If the power light is not illuminated it is probably a bad AC adapter. Verify you are using a working AC outlet. If the outlet is working properly contact Sima for a replacement adapter. Q.) Make sure on the recorder and TV the correct line input mode is selected. Be sure the the input & output are the same type composite to composite or s-video to s-video on the CT-1. The output of the player in connected to the input of the CT-1. The output of the CT-1 is connected to the input of the recording device. A.)When connecting the CT-1 between your playback & recording device and assuming you already have one set of cables on hand now in your current hookup.
