The HNAS1 functions as both a file server and FTP server, and can be used to easily share video, music, and data files. The Network Storage Center features managed access via three pre-defined user authorization levels, which allows files to be shared both publicly and privately. The HNAS1 can also be configured to allow the transfer or backup of files directly over the Internet via the web browser or FTP. It supports all standard 3.5" Internal IDE Hard Drives of up to 250GB (hard drive not included). The Smart Setup Wizard makes installation of the Network Storage Center simple and the user-friendly web interface makes it easy to manage. Powerful auto-installation features, hard drive auto-detection, pre-defined user accounts, and autonetworking settings all provide the user with a convenient way to install and set up the Network Storage Center. All the user has to do is plug in the device and turn it on, utilize the Setup Wizard, and the Network Storage Center is ready for use. The HNAS1 is a great addition to any network! It's easy to install, it's easy to use! Step 1 - Connect the HNAS1 to the Network Use the Ethernet port on the HNAS1 to connect it to the network. Step 2 - Power on the HNAS1 Power on the HNAS1 by connecting the power cord and pressing the power button on the front panel of the device. Step 3 - Get Started Insert the CD that is included with the packaging, run the Setup Wizard, and you're ready to go!
