The EZ 3-Click Installation Wizard is not compatible with the MacOS. 4 Configuring Your Macintosh Computer Once you have connected the BarricadeTM Turbo Router to your Broadband modem, then connect your Macintosh to the BarricadeTM Turbo, you are ready to configure your computer to connect to your BarricadeTM Turbo. Once you have connected these devices, using CAT-5 Ethernet cabling, please check the BarricadeTM Turbo port lights to verify that you have a good connection. · The WAN light verifies that you have good connection from your broadband modem to the BarricadeTM Turbo. · The PORT light verifies that you have a good connection between a computer and the BarricadeTM Turbo. This light will also display the connection speed (10Mbps or 100Mbps). If you connect all the devices together and don't get a valid WAN / PORT light status, then please check the cables. Once you have verified that you have a good network connection to all of your devices, then you will need to check your computers network settings. To do this, please follow the following steps: Step 1 - Configure TCP/IP Settings 1. Pull down the [Apple] Menu, then click the [Control Panels] option and select [TCP/IP]. 2. In the TCP/IP dialog box, make sure that [Ethernet] is selected in the [Connect Via:] field. English If the [Using DHCP Server] is already selected in the [Configure] field, then your computer is already configured for a DHCP connection. Click the [Save] button to save the new changes. English 5 6 Step 2 - Disable HTTP Proxy Once you have a valid IP address on your computer, you are ready to configure the BarricadeTM Turbo for your Internet Provider. Before you can access the web-based administration page, you will need to verify that the HTTP Proxy feature of your Web browser is disabled. To do this, please follow the steps below depending on the browser you are using. Internet Explorer 1. Open Internet Explorer and click [Stop]. Click [Edit] and select [Preferences]. 2. In the Internet Explorer Preferences window, under Network, select [Proxies]. 3. Uncheck all checked boxes and click [OK]. Netscape 1. Open Netscape and click [Stop]. Après avoir connecté ces périphériques au moyen d'un câblage Ethernet CAT-5, examinez les témoins lumineux des ports du routeur BarricadeTM pour vérifier que votre connexion est correcte. · Le témoin WAN atteste du bon fonctionnement de la connexion entre votre modem haut débit et le routeur BarricadeTM. · Le témoin PORT atteste du bon fonctionnement de la connexion entre un ordinateur et le routeur BarricadeTM. Ce témoin montre aussi la vitesse de la connexion (10 Mbps ou 100 Mbps). Si, après avoir connecté tous les périphériques, vous n'obtenez pas un état correct des témoins WAN / PORT, vérifiez les câbles. Après avoir vérifié la connexion réseau avec tous vos périphériques, vous devez vérifier les paramètres réseau de vos ordinateurs. Pour ce faire, procédez comme suit : Étape 1 - Configuration des paramètres TCP/IP 1. Déroulez le menu [Apple], cliquez sur l'option [Tableaux de bord] et sélectionnez [TCP/IP]. 2. Dans la boîte de dialogue TCP/IP, vérifiez que l'option [Ethernet] est sélectionnée dans la zone [Connect Via:] (Se connecter via).
