Power down your computers. 2. Remove the rear panel of the KVM Switch to expose the ports. (Fig. 1) Quick Installation Guide This booklet is a quick guide through the basic steps needed to install the SOHO Series USB KVM Switch (the KVM Switch). If you have any problems during installation, please refer to the SOHO Series USB KVM Switch User Manual. Connect your USB keyboard and USB mouse to the CONSOLE ports on your KVM Switch. (Fig. 2) Step 2: Powering up the KVM Switch 1. Connect the included 9-volt DC, 1A power supply unit into an available power outlet. 2. Attach the barrel into the power jack on the KVM Switch to power the unit. The LEDs should illuminate. (Fig. 4) Fig. 2 4. Take the video cable that is attached to your monitor and connect it to the CONSOLE video port on your KVM Switch. Once the operating system has loaded, connect the USB KVM cable from your computer's USB port to the USB port on the KVM Switch. The operating system will automatically install the KVM Switch. Do this for all USB connections. (Fig. 5) Step 4: Connecting Audio and Microphone--Optional 1. Connect the speakers and microphone to the CONSOLE section of your KVM Switch. (Fig. 6) Fig. 5 Fig. 6 2. Shut down your computer. Take the VGA cable and connect the male end of the cable to the VGA port on the back of the computer. Connect one audio cable from the computer's audio-output port to the audio port labeled "SPKR IN" to the appropriate port on the KVM Switch. Do the same for the microphone connection. Branchez votre clavier et votre souris USB sur les ports CONSOLE de votre Switch KVM. (Fig. 2) Étape 2 : Mise sous tension du Switch KVM 1. Branchez le bloc d'alimentation 9 VCC/1 A fourni sur une prise secteur. 2. Branchez la fiche dans la prise d'alimentation du Switch KVM pour alimenter l'appareil. Les témoins doivent s'allumer. (Fig. 4) Fig. 2 4. Saisissez le câble vidéo relié au moniteur et branchez-le sur le port vidéo CONSOLE de votre Switch KVM. Une fois le système d'exploitation chargé, branchez le câble KVM USB provenant du port USB de l'ordinateur sur le port USB du Switch KVM. Le système d'exploitation installe automatiquement le Switch KVM. Effectuez cette opération pour toutes les connexions USB. (Fig. 5) Étape 4 : Branchement audio et microphone--Facultatif 1. Branchez les haut-parleurs et le micro sur la partie CONSOLE de votre Switch KVM. (Fig. 6) Fig. 5 Fig. 6 2. Mettez votre ordinateur hors tension. Branchez l'extrémité mâle du câble VGA sur le port VGA situé à l'arrière de l'ordinateur. Branchez l'extrémité femelle du câble VGA à l'arrière du boîtier de commutation KVM sur le port CPU1. Branchez un câble audio provenant du port de sortie audio de l'ordinateur sur le port « SPKR IN » approprié du boîtier de commutation KVM. Effectuez la même opération pour le microphone. Schalten Sie alle Computer aus. 2. Nehmen Sie die Rückabdeckung des KVM-Umschalters ab, um die Anschlüsse freizulegen. Schließen Sie Ihre USB-Tastatur und USB-Maus an die KONSOLENSchnittstellen Ihres KVM-Umschalters an. (Abb. 2) Schritt 2: Einschalten des KVM-Umschalters 1. Schließen Sie das beigefügte Gleichstromnetzteil (9 V; 1 A) an eine freie Steckdose an. 2. Stecken Sie den runden Stecker in die Netzteilbuchse des KVM-Umschalters, damit er mit Strom versorgt wird. Jetzt müssten die LEDs aufleuchten. (Abb. 4) Abb. 2 4. Schließen Sie das Bildschirmkabel Ihres Monitors an die KONSOLENGrafikschnittstelle Ihres KVM-Umschalters an. Verbinden Sie nach dem Laden des Betriebssystems die USB-Schnittstelle Ihres Computers und die USB-Schnittstelle des KVM-Umschalters mit dem USB-KVM-Kabel. Das Betriebssystem installiert den KVM-Umschalter automatisch. Gehen Sie bei allen weiteren USB-Verbindungen ebenso vor. (Abb. 5) Schritt 4: Anschließen von Lautsprechern und Mikrophon--Optional 1. Schließen Sie die Lautsprecher und das Mikrophon im KONSOLENBereich des KVM-Umschalters an. (Abb. 6) Abb. 5 Abb. 6 2. Schalten Sie den Computer aus. Verbinden Sie den Stecker des VGAKabels mit der VGA-Schnittstelle an der Computerrückseite. Verbinden Sie die Buchse des VGA-Kabels mit dem Anschluss CPU1 an der Rückseite Ihres KVM-Umschalters. Verbinden Sie den Audio-Ausgang des Computers und die Audioschnittstelle ,,SPKR IN" des KVM-Umschalters mit einem Audiokabel. Gehen Sie zum Anschließen des Mikrophons ebenso vor. Sluit uw USB-toetsenbord en USB-muis aan op de CONSOLE-poorten op uw KVM-switch. (Afb. 2) Stap 2: De stroomvoorziening van de KVM-switch 1. Sluit de meegeleverde 9 V/1A-voedingsadapter aan op een vrij stopcontact. 2. Sluit de busstekker aan op de voedingsingang op de KVM-switch om de unit van stroom te voorzien. De LED's zouden nu moeten gaan branden. (Afb. 4) Fig. 2 4. Neem de videokabel die aan uw monitor is bevestigd en sluit deze aan op de CONSOLE videopoort op uw KVM-switch. Nadat het besturingssysteem is geladen, sluit u de USB-poort van uw computer met behulp van de USB-KVM-kabel aan op de USB-poort op de KVM-switch. Het besturingssysteem zal de KVM-switch nu automatisch installeren. Herhaal dit voor alle USB-verbindingen. (Afb. 5) Stap 4: Audioapparatuur en microfoon aansluiten--Optioneel 1. Sluit de luidsprekers en de microfoon aan op het CONSOLE-deel van uw KVM-switch. (Afb. 6) Fig. 5 Fig. 6 2. Schakel uw computer uit. Neem de VGA-kabel en sluit de male-zijde van de kabel aan op de VGA-poort aan de achterzijde van de computer. Sluit de female-zijde van de VGA-kabel aan op de achterzijde van de KVM-switch voor CPU1. Conecte su teclado y ratón USB a los puertos de CONSOLA de su conmutador KVM (teclado/pantalla/ratón). (Fig. 2) Paso 2: cómo encender su conmutador KVM (teclado/pantalla/ratón) 1. Conecte la unidad de la fuente de alimentación 1 A, DC de 9 voltios a una toma de corriente disponible. 2. Inserte el enchufe cilíndrico en la toma de alimentación del conmutador KVM (teclado/pantalla/ratón) para encender la unidad. Los indicadores LED deberían iluminarse. (Fig. 4) Fig. 2 4. Una vez que el sistema operativo se ha cargado, conecte un cable USB KVM (teclado/pantalla/ratón) desde el puerto USB de su ordenador al puerto USB del conmutador KVM. El sistema operativo instalará el conmutador KVM (teclado/pantalla/ ratón) de modo automático. Realice el mismo procedimiento para todas las conexiones USB. Apague el ordenador. Conecte el enchufe macho del cable VGA al puerto VGA de la parte trasera del ordenador. Conecte el enchufe hembra del cable VGA a la parte trasera del conmutador KVM (teclado/pantalla/ratón) para la CPU1. Haga lo mismo con todos los ordenadores. Collegare la tastiera e il mouse USB alle porte della CONSOLE sullo switch KVM. (Fig. 2) Fase 2: Accendere lo switch KVM 1. Collegare l'adattatore di corrente 9 Volt DC, 1A ad una presa di alimentazione disponibile. 2. Inserire la spina nella presa di alimentazione dello switch KVM per accendere l'unità. Una volta caricato il sistema operativo, collegare il cavo KVM USB dalla porta USB del computer alla porta USB dello switch KVM. Il sistema operativo installerà automaticamente lo Switch KVM. Ripetere l'operazione per tutte le connessioni USB. (Fig. 5) Fase 4: Collegamento Audio e Microfono--Opzionale 1. Collegare gli speaker e il microfono alla CONSOLE dello switch KVM. (Fig. 6) Fig. 5 Fig. 6 2. Spegnere il computer. Prendere il cavo VGA e collegare la spina del cavo alla porta VGA situata sul retro del computer. Dalla presa di uscita audio del computer collegare un cavo audio alla porta audio contrassegnata con "SPKR IN" alla rispettiva porta dello switch KVM.
