Power down your computers. 2. Remove the rear panel of the KVM Switch to expose the ports. (Fig. 1) Quick Installation Guide This booklet is a quick guide through the basic steps needed to install the SOHO Series USB KVM Switch (the KVM Switch). If you have any problems during installation, please refer to the SOHO Series USB KVM Switch User Manual. Connect your USB keyboard and USB mouse to the CONSOLE ports on your KVM Switch. (Fig. 2) Step 2: Powering up the KVM Switch 1. Connect the included 9-volt DC, 1A power supply unit into an available power outlet. 2. Attach the barrel into the power jack on the KVM Switch to power the unit. The LEDs should illuminate. (Fig. 4) Fig. 2 4. Take the video cable that is attached to your monitor and connect it to the CONSOLE video port on your KVM Switch. Once the operating system has loaded, connect the USB KVM cable from your computer's USB port to the USB port on the KVM Switch. The operating system will automatically install the KVM Switch. Do this for all USB connections. (Fig. 5) Step 4: Connecting Audio and Microphone--Optional 1. Connect the speakers and microphone to the CONSOLE section of your KVM Switch. (Fig. 6) Fig. 5 Fig. 6 2. Shut down your computer. Take the VGA cable and connect the male end of the cable to the VGA port on the back of the computer. Connect one audio cable from the computer's audio-output port to the audio port labeled "SPKR IN" to the appropriate port on the KVM Switch. Do the same for the microphone connection. Branchez le bloc d'alimentation 9 VCC/1 A fourni sur une prise secteur. 2. Branchez la fiche dans la prise d'alimentation du Switch KVM pour alimenter l'appareil. Les témoins doivent s'allumer. Une fois le système d'exploitation chargé, branchez le câble KVM USB provenant du port USB de l'ordinateur sur le port USB du Switch KVM. Le système d'exploitation installe automatiquement le Switch KVM. Effectuez cette opération pour toutes les connexions USB. (Fig. 5) Étape 4 : Branchement audio et microphone--Facultatif 1. Branchez l'extrémité mâle du câble VGA sur le port VGA situé à l'arrière de l'ordinateur. Branchez l'extrémité femelle du câble VGA à l'arrière du boîtier de commutation KVM sur le port CPU1. Schließen Sie das beigefügte Gleichstromnetzteil (9 V; 1 A) an eine freie Steckdose an. 2. Stecken Sie den runden Stecker in die Netzteilbuchse des KVM-Umschalters, damit er mit Strom versorgt wird.
