User Guide For Mac OS X Leopard users ENGLISH 1 This document develops a simple procedure to use your Parrot products with a computer equipped with the latest updated version of Mac OS X: the "Leopard" version. Warning: the following detailed procedure only applies to the Leopard version. 1. Click on the Bluetooth icon at the top right of your screen. > The opposite window is displayed. 2. Make sure the Bluetooth functionality of your computer is turned on. If it is not the case, click on Bluetooth On then click on Set up Bluetooth Device. > The following window is displayed. 3. Click on Continue. 4. Select « Headset » then click on Continue. > The computer is searching for available peripherals. 2 5. Select your Parrot device in the list and click on Continue. > A new window is displayed to inform you that the computer is gathering all the necessary information to pair the device. 6. Click on Continue. 7. Press the Configuration or Bluetooth key of your Parrot device, depending on the type of product you have, to make it discoverable. NOTE: REFER TO YOUR PARROT PRODUCT USER GUIDE FOR FURTHER INFORMATION. 8. Enter « 0000 » in the Passkey field then click on Continue. > > Your computer connects to the parrot device. The connection procedure is completed. 9. Click on Quit to leave the application. 10. Select your Parrot device as the external loudspeaker of your computer. To do so : a. Click on the Apple icon at the top left of your screen. > The opposite window is displayed. 3 b. Select System Preferences > Sound icon. c. In the Output tab, select your Parrot device as external speaker. Now, you can listen to audio files via your Parrot device. NOTE: THIS PROCEDURE IS ONLY REQUIRED ONCE. TO USE YOUR PARROT DEVICE LATER, YOU ONLY HAVE TO TURN ON THE DEVICE AND KEEP IT NEARBY YOUR COMPUTER. YOU ALSO HAVE TO SELECT THIS PRODUCT AS THE COMPUTER EXTERNAL SPEAKER LIKE EXPLAINED BEFORE. ALL DEVICES PAIRED WITH THE COMPUTER ARE MEMORIZED AND DO NOT REQUIRE ANY ADDITIONAL TAKEDOWN. 4
