TA2050 Quick Reference Basic Setup & Operations Welcome Congratulations on your purchase of this GoVideo LCD TV. This Quick Reference Guide will help you get started. Before you begin, make sure the following accessories are included with your LCD TV: 1 Remote Control 2 AAA Batteries (2) 3 Power Cable 4 Registration Card 5 AC Adapter 6 AV Cable 7 User's Guide 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 Step 1 - Insert the Remote Control Batteries Install the supplied batteries, paying attention to the correct polarities. 1 2 3 Step 2 - Connect the Power Cable 1 Connect the supplied AC Adapter to the Power DC 12V jack on the back of the LCD TV. 2 Connect the supplied power cable to the AC Adapter. 3 Plug the power cable into a standard wall outlet. Connect to Antenna or Basic Cable IN Connect to Cable Box or Satellite Receiver RF OUT L AUDIO OUTPUT R VIDEO S-VIDEO RF Cable Step 4 - Turn on the TV 1 Turn the front panel power switch downward to turn on the TV. · The Power/Standby light turns off. 2 Turn the power switch up to turn off the TV. · The Power/Standby light turns blue. To select a 3-digit channel number (e.g., channel 115) Complete the following steps within 4 seconds. 1 Press the 100 button. 2 Press the 1 button. 3 Press the 5 button. Note: Three-digit channel numbers can only be selected when Antenna is set to CATV in the menu system; see the User's Guide for details. Step 5 - Search for Channels 1 Press MENU on the remote control. 2 Select Setup > Antenna. · Choose TV if you have an antenna. · Choose CATV if you have cable. 3 Select Setup > Auto. · The LCD TV will automatically search for all available channels. · To add or delete channels, see the User's Guide. To switch inputs Press TV/VIDEO on the front panel to change the on-screen view to TV, Video, S-Video, or Component. · You can also directly select any input by pressing TV, LINE (Video), S-VIDEO, or COMPONENT on the remote control. Step 6 - Select Channels/Inputs You can select antenna channels 2-69 or cable TV channels 1-125 on your LCD TV. To select a channel, use the TV CH +/- buttons, or use the number keys as follows: Step 7 - Adjust the Volume Press the VOL+/- buttons to adjust the volume. · To mute the sound, press MUTE. Step 8 - Adjust the Screen Angle To set the LCD TV to a comfortable viewing angle, tilt the screen forward or backward. You can also rotate the screen side to side.
