When using Timed Dry and Air Fluff, you must set the number of minutes for the program to run. (See "Time" in the "Option Buttons" section on the next page for details.) You can select 1, 2, or 3 hours by pressing this button until the number of hours you prefer displays (e.g., 1h). The drum will rotate once every minute at the end of the program for the number of hours you select or until you press Stop or open the door. To cancel Delayed Start after you press Start, press and hold the Stop button until the LED displays the program number or the number of minutes. You have two temperature options: Normal and Low. The Normal setting is for heaver fabrics, such as denim, cotton, linen, etc. Low is for lighter, more delicate fabrics, such as synthetics, permanent press, etc. The indicator light will stay lit when Low is selected. It will remain off when Normal is selected. Press this button to set a buzzer to sound for three seconds when a program is complete. The indicator light will stay lit when this option is on. If you select Anti-crease, the buzzer will sound every time the drum rotates. Every program except Air Fluff ends with a cool-down cycle that tumbles the clothes without heat to reduce wrinkling. This button lets you set a Normal cool-down cycle (15 minutes) or a Quick cool-down (5 minutes). The indicator light will stay lit when Quick is selected. NOTE: The dryer is programmed to retain the option settings last selected with each program. Anti-crease Delayed Start Temperature Buzzer Cool-down UNDERSTANDING THE LED WINDOW The LED window displays the program number for the automatic programs (i.e., P1 = Extra Dry; P2 = Dry; P3 = Norma Dry; P4 = Iron Dry). When you select Timed Dry, the LED displays the number of mintues selected plus the cool-down time. When you select Air Fluff, the LED displays the number of minutes selected. With Timed Dry and Air Fluff, as the program advances the LED displays the remaining time. "End" on the LED indicates the program is complete. "C" indicates the program is in the cool-down cycle. CLEANING THE LINT .ILTER Although the lint in your ASKO dryer will be minimal, the lint filter should be cleaned after each load to ensure maximum air flow and prevent possible overheating. To clean the filter, follow the steps below: 1. Grasp the handle and pull it toward you. 2. Remove the filter from the holder by pulling it up. 3. Open the filter and gently brush away any lint. 4. Fold the filter together and return it to the holder on the door. 5. Push the holder in until it snaps into place. NOTE: We recommend that you clean the lint filter after every load. OVERHEATING PROTECTION The dryer has a protection device that shuts the machine off if the temperature becomes too high. Overheating could occur if the lint filter is clogged or the fan needs to be cleaned. If the dryer shuts off during a program, first check the lint filter. If the filter is clean, the fan may need to be cleaned. See page 3 in your Use and Care Guide for more details. Refer to your Use and Care Guide for additional programming and operational information as well as care and cleaning instructions. ...
