NT-P100M Quick Start Guide STEP 1 Knowing Your Memory Phone Connect the Memory Phone to Your PC 1. 2. 3. Plug the phone into an USB port of your computer. Window detects the phone as several new hardware devices and installs necessary drivers automatically. Wait until all drivers are installed. Window may skip this step if the drivers have been previous installed on your PC, 5. Click on Don't have a Skype Name? to open the create account window. Choose your Skype Name and password. Enter the required information (denoted by a red asterisk) and click Sign In. When the following screen comes up, select Allow this program to use Skype and click OK 1. STEP 2 - Continue Assign Speed Dial to Contact Right-click on a contact under the Contacts Tab and select Set Speed Dial. STEP 3 - Continue Make a SkypeOut Call SkypeOut is a low cost way to make calls to a regular phone line using Skype. Before you can use this service, you have to buy SkypeOut credit first from Skype.com. 1. 2. First, press the " + " key followed by the phone number to call.. Enter a phone number strictly in the following format "Country code" + "Area Code" + "Phone Number" For example, if you want to make a call to your friend in Berlin, Germany and his phone number is 1234567. You have to enter + 49 30 1234567 2. Assign a speed-dial number to a contact (e.g. 10). The speed-dial number can be any number from 1 to 99. 3. Lastly, press the " # " key to make the call If you input a wrong number, press the Cancel key to delete. No matter where you are and where you want to call, you have to follow this dial format to make a SkypeOut call. 4. If these icons are shown on your computer's system tray, located on the right hand bottom of the screen, your phone is ready for use. Check Your Calls History 3. Repeat for each contact you want to assign a speed dial number. To check the incoming call history When the phone is in idle mode, press the IN key to scroll the incoming call log. To check the outgoing call history When the phone is in idle mode, press the OUT key to scroll the outgoing call log. Select Your Ring Tone Calling with Your Memory Phone Make a Skype Call 1. Press the Cancel key to open Skype window. 2. Press again to select the Contact tab. 3. Press the Scroll key to select the contact you want to call. 4. Press the Dial key to make the call. Make a Skype Call Using Speed Dial Number 1. Press the Cancel key to open Skype window. 2. Enter the speed dial number (e.g. 10), and press " # " key to make the call. Receive a Skype Call When the phone rings, press Dial key to answer or press End key to refuse the call. When the phone is in idle mode, keep pressing the " " key until you find your favorite one. There are 10 different ring tones to select. Saving Data to Your Memory Phone Your phone is also a flash memory disk drive. Once it is connected, it will become a disk drive in your computer. Make a Skype Test Call 1. 2. Select Skype Test Call in the Contacts Tab. Click the green call button. Follow the voice instructions to test your installation. STEP 3 Add Skype Users as Contact 1. 2. Click on the Skype icon to open the Skype window. Click on the Add Contact button on Skype window and follow onscreen instructions to add your contact. The drive letter may be different from your system. You can use it as a regular disk drive and save your data into it. Don't make any changes to the files and folders which are pre-installed in the disk drive. If changes are made, the phone will not function properly.
