Using Your Roady2 Personal Audio System
Tuning XM Channels
Switch to XM mode, then use your Roady2 controls as usual.

Volume
It's best to change the volume using the joystick controls, but you can also use the volume control on your headset, or on the Roady2 unit itself.
Personal Audio System
Tuning FM channels
Switch to FM mode, then move the joystick to change channels. A short tap and release will tune to the next station. Hold in either side for one second and release it to seek until an FM station is found. Tap the joystick anywhere to stop.

Setting up Your Roady2TM Personal Audio System
Note: Before using your Roady2 Personal Audio System for the first time, it is recommended that you fully charge the battery. See your Roady2 Personal Audio System User Guide for more information.

Important Things to Know
Display
The Roady2 Personal Audio System display shows the mode (FM or XM), FM station, battery charge indicator, and volume. (XM channels appear on your Roady2 display.)
Step 1: Push down the latches on both sides. Step 3: Gently place your Roady2 into the docking station and slide the tray back in until latches click. Step 5:
Slide the mode switch to XM or FM.
Important: For Roady2 operating instructions, consult the Roady2 User Manual that came with your Roady2.
Headset
Your Roady2 Personal Audio System headset not only produces great sound, it contains a built-in antenna. Keep the antenna in line of sight with the satellite for best reception. You can adjust the volume with the control on the right side.
Backlight
Any time you adjust the controls or change modes, the blue LED backlight comes on so you can easily read the display.
Battery pack
To recharge the battery, plug the AC adaptor into the unit with the battery in place. The Lithium Ion battery will fully charge in about two hours when the unit is turned off, but you can charge it while using it. The indicators at the upper left part of the display indicate the state of the battery.
Step 2: Slide the tray out.

Caution: Turn down the volume before using headset to avoid ear damage.
