Support for VISCA-compatible Cameras The Polycom® iPowerTM 9000 system provides support for the VISCATM command protocol. This capability allows users to control VISCA-compatible cameras from the iPower system interface. Supported Cameras The following VISCA-compatible cameras have been tested and support the controls listed in the section "Supported Functionality." Sony EVI-D30 Sony EVI-D31 Sony EVI-D100 Sony EVI-D101 To connect the camera to the iPower system, use the control cable adapter (part number 1457-50527-001). To order this cable, contact Polycom and request order number 2200-51000-001. Edition: 3725-50564-001/A *P3725-50564-001* Restrictions Note the following restrictions when using VISCA-compatible camera with the iPower 9000 system: Hardware Diagnostics does not detect the Sony D30 and D100 cameras. You cannot test these cameras using Hardware Diagnostics. Daisy-chaining of cameras is not supported. If you configure a Pan, Tilt, or Zoom preset for a Sony D30 camera for the minimum or maximum positional setting, the preset may not work reliably.
