SoundStation VTX 1000® Software version 1.6 Release Notes Date: April 25, 2005 Specific Release version: 1.60.009 Subject: Software Release Notes describing changes from Software Version 1.5 to Software version 1.6 New features This release includes support for use with the new Polycom QSXTM Voice+ContentTM product. The additional user display interface includes QSX-based SoundStation VTX 1000 soft keys for previewing, starting, and stopping QSX content when the SoundStation VTX 1000 is connected to the QSX product. These features enable the SoundStation VTX 1000 to function as the QSX Content Controller. Therefore, SoundStation VTX 1000 users do not need to purchase the QSX Content Controller bundle. Please purchase the QSX 300 for this solution, or a specially priced QSX 300/SoundStation VTX 1000 bundle. Software Improvements/Bug Fixes Audio 1. The SoundStation VTX 1000 start-up tone sound is may distort when Conference Link is active at boot time. This problem has been corrected. Misc. 1. Ring processing has been changed to improve SoundStation VTX 1000 ring sensitivity. This change supports improved Ring Detection when the SoundStation VTX 1000 is connected to a PBX. 2. Flash timing was adjusted by to deliver exact flash timing to the network. Modem 1. A Country Code parameter has been defined to provide control of delay between off-hook and initial VTX wideband negotiation to adjust the SoundStation VTX 1000 for variances in a network where needed User Interface 1.
