The DLT-V4 tape drive is an extension of the Digital Linear Tape (DLT®) product family. This chapter describes the purpose, scope, and audience of this document. It also lists the typographical conventions used in this document. Purpose 0 This document describes the tape drive, listing its physical, functional, and performance specifications, and describing the standards that the tape drive meets. Audience 0 The primary audience for this document consists of engineers and technicians interested in integrating the tape drive into tape libraries and other equipment.
