StreetPilot c320 ® setup guide This setup guide includes instructions to configure your c320 and load maps. To ensure a successful installation, follow the steps outlined in this guide. Do not connect the USB cable to your PC until you are instructed to do so. For information about using your c320, refer to the c320 Quick Reference Guide located in the box. Also see the c320 Owner's Manual at www.garmin.com/products/sp320/. 190-00435-02 Rev. C Open this setup guide and follow the instructions to set up your c320. Complete all of the setup steps: Step 1: Configure your c320 Step 2: Install software and map data Step 3: Load maps Do not connect the USB cable to your PC until you are instructed to do so. Start Here 1 Step 1: Configure Your c320 Press and hold the Power button to turn on the unit. Note: A "Low Battery" warning may appear when you turn on the unit. Charge the unit for three hours. When you see the screen that states "To use this unit, map data must be installed," you are ready to install software and map data. Step 2: Install Software and Map Data 1 Remove the DVD-ROM from the case and insert it into your computer's DVD-ROM drive. If the startup file does not run automatically, click the Windows Start button and select Run.... Type your DVD-ROM's drive followed by "Setup" (for example, "E:\Setup"). Click OK. 2 Follow the series of instructions that appear on your computer. When prompted, connect your c320 to your computer using the enclosed USB cable. 3 When you have completed the registration process, click Done to load maps to your c320. 1 2 Step 3: Load Maps To load maps on your c320, follow the instructions on the Map Install Wizard shown on your computer screen. Move the slider to zoom in and out of the map. Click the arrows to move the map. Click the regions on the map that you want to load into your c320. Click Next. 3 After your maps are loaded, click OK. Disconnect the USB cable Selected map region. from your unit. Click Next to load the maps to your c320. To load new maps, turn on your c320 and reconnect the USB cable to your unit and PC. The Map Install Wizard automatically appears.
