Keep the product away from moisture: - Do not expose this appliance to rain or moisture. - If water penetrates into the product, stop the operation; unplug the connector and contact with your dealer. The power cable should be kept away from heat sources: The heat produced by any heat source may melt the covering of the power cable. Unplug the connector Hold the power connector when removing the power cable: Pulling the power cable itself may damage the wires inside the cable and cause fire or electric shock. Do not touch the connector with wet hands: To avoid risk of electric shock. ATTENTION Insert batteries in accordance with instructions: Insert the batteries with correct polarities (positive and negative ). Incorrect polarities may cause breakage and leakage of the batteries, hurt operators and contaminate the remote controller. Use extreme care to make sure you are never in a position where your body (or any item you are in contact with, such as a ladder or screwdriver) can accidentally touch overhead power lines. Never locate the antenna near overhead power lines or other electrical circuits. Never attempt to install any of the following during lightning activity: a). an antenna system; or b).cables, wires, or any home theater component connected to an antenna or phone system.

Others: 1). The LCD panel on this TV is manufactured using an extremely high level of precision technology; however, an occasional pixel (dot of light) may display constantly on the screen. This is a structural property of LCD technology and is not a sign of malfunction. Such pixels are not visible when the picture is viewed from a normal viewing distance. 2). LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) may cause interference in image, sound, etc. of the other electronic equipment that is easy to receive electromagnetic waves (i.e. AM radios and video equipment) under certain installed condition. In particular, it may affect electronic equipment beyond the residential until where a LCD TV is used. 3). The screen on this TV is manufactured from glass. To prevent damage, never strike the glass with a sharp or heavy object. 4). Cold cathode fluorescent lamp in LCD panel contains a small amount of mercury. When the TV reaches the end of its useful life, ask a qualified service technician to properly dispose of the TV, or follow local ordinances or regulations for disposal. 5). If you have the LCD screen facing to the sun, the LCD screen will be damaged. Be aware of locating the TV in the place such as window side or out side of the room. 6). This apparatus is not a floor-stand product and is not suitable for in the open-air usage. The operation temperature is 5°C ~ 30°C.

1. Before use
The product is a 27" XGA (XGA resolution) LCD TV. It has passed the UL and cUL safety certifications, and is an ideal product for individual users and commercial exhibitioners. The product is a precise electronic product. Users should read the following instructions carefully to maximise the performance of the product: The product is packaged in a carton together with other standard accessories. Any optional accessories shall be packed separately in another carton. Due to the size & weight of the product, it is recommended that it should be moved by a minimum of two people. The protective glass and the glass substrate are installed on the front of the product. Since both glasses can be broken and scraped easily, move the product gently. Never place the unit with the glass facing downwards unless it is protected with soft pads. When opening the carton, check that the product is in good condition and that all standard accessories and items are included. Whenever possible, use the handles on the back of the Display for transport.

1.2 Installation
A specified technician from the distributor or authorised agent should always install the product, otherwise the warranty may become void. Due to the higher power consumption, always use the jack exclusively designed for this product. If an extended line is required, please consult with your service agent. The product should be installed on a flat surface to avoid tipping. The distance between the back of the product and the wall should be maintained for proper ventilation. Avoid installing the product in the kitchen, bathroom or any other places with higher humidity so as not to shorten the service life of the electronic components. Please ensure the product be installed horizontally, any 90 degree clockwise or counterclockwise installation may induce poor ventilation and subsequent component damage. To protect the screen and avoid screen burn, do not hold on a static picture for a long time.

2. Product Features
The 27 LCD TV provides quality image displays and is suitable for a variety of multi media applications: 1. Available input signals - The standard PC module provides VGA (D-SUB 15 PIN), and a RS-232 (D-SUB 9 PIN MALE) communication connector. The product supports PC mode image resolutions up to (1280 x 1024@60Hz) with a vertical frequency of 60 Hz. - The Video module provides composite video (RCA), S-video (DIN 4 PIN) and component video (RCA) input connectors. It supports the quality input images of DVD and HDTV (480P/720P/1080i). The Video module also provides one set of Stereo Audio output. - The TUNER Module The RF input terminal is for ANTENNA and CABLE TV channels. 2. Power Management Function The machine provides an automatic power control function. 3. XGA LCD TV Panel The XGA LCD TV panel provides high resolution and high contrast image. The number of pixels is 1366 (H) x 768 (V). The contrast is 1000:1. 4. Others - PIP/POP Function: The user may watch image from two source at same time. - The LCD TV unit provides warm, middle and cool color temperature options. The user may customize their favorite color temperature.

Add/Erase: Press to add or delete favorite channel. SOUND: Press repeatedly to cycle through the sound mode: Normal, News, Cinema, Flat and User. PIC SIZE: Press repeatedly to cycle through the picture size that best corresponds your viewing requirements: Normal, Full, Wide1, Wide2, Wide3, 4:3, No scale, Panoramic and Normal. When in POP mode, it can select picture size is: Full, 4:3 and Normal. P.MODE: Press repeatedly to cycle through the picture mode: Hi-Bright, User, Dark, Normal and Vivid. ZOOM: Press to zoom the image max from 32 times to minimally 1/32 times. RECALL: Press to return to previous channel. SLEEP: Press repeatedly until it displays the time in minutes (5 Min, 10 Min, 15 Min, 30 Min, 60 Min, 90 Min, 120 Min and, OFF) that you want the TV to remain on before shutting off. To cancel sleep time, press SLEEP repeatedly until sleep OFF appears. Note: Press CH +/- on the remote control can turn on TV set from last preview mode.

- Avoiding being spoiling by liquids. - Avoiding being dropped to the floor. - Always store the remote control at dry and normal room temperature place. - Replace the batteries if you feel the signal is not sensitive or after batteries are running for one year. - If the remote control will be idled for a long time (above 1 month) take out the batteries to avoid leakage from the batteries. - Clean up the entire remote control especially the battery compartment if any leakage found. - Do not mix using different kind of new and used batteries together to avoid leakage.

Connecting the DVD or VCR player devices Switch off TV and external equipment before connecting cables. 1. Connect a DVD or VCR player's Video Out to the TV's Video In jack by a Video cable. (Fig1.) 2. Connect a DVD or VCR player's S-VIDEO Out to the TV's S-VIDEO In jack by a S-VIDEO cable. 3. Connect a DVD or VCR player's Audio Out to the TV's L/R jacks by a Audio cable, in this stage, the S-VIDEO and VIDEO is sharing this L/R Audio in channels. 4. Press POWER to turn on the TV. Turn on external equipment also. 5. Press SOURCE to select AV or S-VIDEO signal source. Connecting AUDIO OUT jacks to a stereo amplifier Switch off TV and external equipment before connecting cables. 1. Connect the TV Audio Out (R/L) to the stereo amplifier In (R/L). (Fig2.) 2. 6. Basic Operation
6.1 Power ON/OFF: The Display is in Standby mode
- Press the POWER on the remote control or on the control panel to turn on the unit. The power indicator changes from red to green. - Press the POWER on the remote control or on the control panel again to return the display to standby mode. The power indicator changes from green to red. Note: For protecting your LCD TV product, the interval time between turn on the LCD TV product and shut down it should be kept at least one minute. 6.2 Selection of Input Mode

- Press SOURCE / on the remote control or on the LCD TV control panel to select the signal source you desired. ADD/EARSE FAVORITE When no input from the selected signal source, "Main no signal" and blue background on the will appear, press SOURCE / remote control or on the control panel again to search the next source.
Note: The LCD-TV will automatically turn itself off after approximately 15 minutes if no signal input. When no signal is inputed for about 14 minutes. A "No signal and going to power down" wording will appear.You can press "" or "" button to selected, press "ENTER" to confirm. If select "Cancel" or no operation, the LCD-TV will automatically turn off after 1 minutes, if select "OK", it will turn off immediately.
6.3 Other Function

FAVORITE: Press FAVORITE button repeatedly, you will cycle through Favorite Channel.
ADD/ERASE: Press this button to add/erase current channel to/from the list of favorite directly. Add current channel into the list of favorite if a heart shape mark displaying on the left top of screen. Erase current channel from the list of favorite if a broken heart shape mark displaying. Note: - If you don't want do add/erase this channel to/from the list of favorite, press this button again. - For addition, it will be put at last of the favorite list and the first channel in favorite list will overflow in case of the list is full. USING THE POP DOUBLE-WINDOW FEATURE

6.4 Using the POP double-window feature
The POP (picture-out-picture) feature splits the screen into a double window that allows you to watch two programs at the same time. The POP program can come from a TV broadcast or an external source, such as a VCR. To display a TV broadcast in the POP window: 1. Press PIP button to enter the POP window. Press PIP for selecting the different PIP modes, such as following;

Use / to select the window and active it with a red-colored frame. Press SOURCE to select the input source for the POP window. 2. To change the next programmed channels, press number buttons (0~9) or CH+/CH-.
Note: a. If the V-CHIP feature is active and you try to watch a TV program that exceeds your set rating limits, the program will be blocked. b. For active window, you can change channels, adjust volume, select input source ect.. After power off, the active window will be keep the setting when you power on next time. c. It is must to have second video source connected for basic PIP and L/R POP modes. d. After you choose the POP mode, all settings are only aimed at the active window.

Switching the pictures:
When in Basic PIP mode, press "ENTER" to swap main or sub pictures; When in LR POP mode, press "ENTER" swap the L/R pictures. When the red frame is displaying in main window, the sound goes out of main window source. If it display in sub window, the sound goes out of sub window source.

Learning about the menu system After you have installed the batteries and programmed the remote control, you will need to set some preferences on the TV using the menu system. 9. Cleaning and Simple Troubleshooting
1 Important: - Make sure that the power cable is removed from the AC outlet before cleaning the product. - Do not use volatile solvent (such as toluene, rosin and alcohol) to clean the Display. Such chemicals may damage the housing, screen glass and remote control, and cause the paint to peel. 2 Cleaning of Housing and Remote Control: - Use a soft cotton cloth for cleaning. - If the housing or remote control are seriously contaminated, use a soft cloth moistened with diluted neutral clean the Display. Wring water out of the cloth before cleaning to prevent water from penetrating into the housing. Wipe the Display with a dry cloth after cleaning. 3 Cleaning of Screen: - Use a soft cotton cloth to clean the screen gently. - The screen glass is very fragile; so do not scrape it with any sharp object. Do not press or tap the screen to avoid cracking. When the screen is seriously contaminated, use a soft cloth moistened with diluted neutral cleaner to clean the Display. Wring water out of the cloth before cleaning to prevent water from penetrating into the housing. Wipe the display with a dry cloth after cleaning. 4 Simple Troubleshooting: If the display fails or the performance changes dramatically, check the Display in accordance with the following instructions. Solution - Check that both ends of the power cable are plugged into the socket appropriately. - Check that the signal line is connected properly. - Check that the power of the relevant peripherals is turned on. - Check that the Input option that has been selected matches with the input signal. - Check that the polarity of the batteries are correct. - Check that the batteries are not drained. (Use new batteries.) - Check that the Remote Control is within the operating range. - Check that the Remote Control is pointed to the Remote Control Window on the Display. - Check that there are no obstacles between the Remote Control and the Remote Control Window. - For more information about the Remote Control, refer to Chapter 6. - Check that there is no emitter sources (Car, HV cable or Neon lamp) or other possible interference sources. - Check that all the video settings are adjusted appropriately, such as brightness, contrast, color etc. - For more information about video settings, refer to OSD Functions in Chapter 6. - Check that the screen position and size is adjusted appropriately. - Check that the signal line is connected properly. - When connecting to PC, you can change the resolution of PC to acquire correct image. The discrepancy of the PC output signal may affect the display of the image. - Check that the speaker cables are connected appropriately. - Check that the Display is not in the Mute mode. - Check that the audio signal lines from the peripherals are connected properly. - Select the correct input signal. - For more information, refer to Support the Signal Mode in Chapter 8.
The remote control does not function properly.

The external speaker has no sound. Check that the input signal line is properly fixed, or display "Out Of Range"
