Accessing the Command Line Interface
Users can access the Command Line Interface via a Telnet session. This requires that TCP/IP connectivity exists between the host from which the Telnet session is opened and the SpeedTouchTM500Series. .As soon a session to the CLI is opened, the SpeedTouchTM500Series banner pops up, followed by the CLI prompt. In case the SpeedTouchTM500Series is protected by a System password, authentication will be required before access is granted. The following figure shows an example of the SpeedTouchTM500Series banner after opening a session and authentication.
