Within its progressively deforming bodyshell, the Alfa GT features an array of top class equipment: the FPS (Fire Prevention System) with tank-locking valve and inertia switch that cuts off the flow of fuel in case of impact, seat belts with inertia reel and load limiter at the front and rear, fully collapsible, adjustable steering column, anti-intrusion bars in the doors, energy-absorbing internal trim that already complies with stringent USA standards regarding flammability. And 6 standard airbags including two newlydesigned window bags that inflate more quickly and open from the top down in order to protect the front passengers. On board, the innovative Q2 system features a front Torsen mechanical self locking differential, which offers all the strengths of front-wheel drive together with the typical advantages of four-wheel drive.
