MX46U2-GN / MX46-533GN is Intel® Socket 478 motherboard (M/B) based on the micro-ATX form factor featuring the SIS 650GX chipset (MX46U2-GN) and SIS 651 chipset (MX46-533GN). As high performance chipset built in the M/B, MX46U2-GN supports Intel® Socket 478 Pentium® 4 (Willamette / Northwood) and 400MHz Front Side Bus (FSB) clock. MX46-533GN supports Intel® Socket 478 Pentium® 4 (Willamette / Northwood) and 400MHz/533MHz Front Side Bus (FSB) clock. In the AGP performance, it has one AGP slot and supports AGP 4X/2X/1X modes. According to different customer's requirements, MX46U2-GN supports DDR200 and DDR 266 up to 2GB maximum. MX46-533GN supports DDR333, DDR266 and DDR200 up to 2GB maximum. The onboard IDE controller supports Ultra DMA 33/66/100/133 mode. More than that, on the strength of Realtek 8101L LAN controller on board, which is a highly-integrated Platform LAN Connect device, it provides 10/100M bps Ethernet for office and home use. Chipset MX46U2-GN This motherboard is equipped with SIS 650GX chipset. SIS 650 IGUI Host Memory Controller integrates a high performance host interface for Intel Pentium 4 processor, a high performance 2D/3D Graphic Engine, a high performance memory controller and an AGP 4X interface. MX46-533GN This motherboard is equipped with SIS 651 chipset. SIS 651 IGUI Host Memory Controller integrates a high performance host interface for Intel Pentium 4 processor, a high performance 2D/3D Graphic Engine, a high performance memory controller and an AGP 4X interface. Be careful of CPU orientation when you plug it into CPU socket. 1. Pull up the CPU socket lever and up to 90-degree angle. 2. Locate Pin 1 in the socket and look for mark on the CPU upper interface. Match Pin 1 and cut edge, then insert the CPU into the socket.
