Open hood and locate the air hose leading from the idle stabilizer to the bypass tube. 2. Measure 1 1/4" from the idle stabilizer end of the hose and mark. Next, make another mark 5" from the same starting point. 3. Cut the hose at both marks, and remove the 3 1/4" section of hose that has just been cut out. The boost check valve will replace the section of hose that you have just cut out. 4. Loosen the hose clamps a little and place them over the hose at both ends. Insert the boost check valve into both ends of the hose, with the arrow on the check valve body pointing towards the idle stabilizer. 5. Slide both hose clamps over the hose, approximately 1/4" away from the flats on the black anodized ends of the check valve.
