A U T O T E C H Installation Instructions www.autotech.com Part Number: Description: 10.425.1632GK L/W FRONT SWAYBAR FOR B5 PASSAT Notes: This swaybar is a direct replacement for the original one. It is a simple, bolt on installation. Procedure: 1) Place the car on jackstands so that both of the front wheels are off the ground. 2) Remove the nut (1) that retains the outer link to the stock swaybar, and pull the link out of the bar. 3) Unscrew the hexnuts (2) that retain the inner bushing clamps to the chassis and remove the clamps. 4) Install the new bushings onto the new swaybar, using a liberal amount of waterproof grease (moly grease for cv joints works well). 5) Install the new swaybar in the original position and mount the inner bushiong clamps. Tighten nuts (2) to 30Nm / 22 ft lbs. 6) Push outer link into the swaybar end and install nut.
