AXIS 295 Video Surveillance Joystick AXIS 295 Video Surveillance Joystick Installation Guide AXIS 295 Video Surveillance Joystick Safety Instructions This equipment must be installed in strict accordance with the instructions given in the user documentation. This equipment contains no userserviceable components. Unauthorized equipment changes or modifications will invalidate all applicable regulatory certifications and approvals. This product is for indoor use only. Be sure to install the product where it will not be exposed to water or other liquids. For cleaning purposes use damp tissues with a soft cleaner, do not use aggressive chemicals or abrasives. Liability - Every care has been taken in the preparation of this manual. AXIS 295 Video Surveillance Joystick Description AXIS 295 is designed for applications developed for video surveillance systems. The sensitivity allows for fast, flexible and secure operation with Axis network cameras with pan, tilt and zoom functionality. The function buttons - 10 on the panel, 2 on the handle - provide flexible functionality for e.g. selecting surveillance cameras and taking snapshots. 2 function buttons on top of handle Rotating handle USB cable 2m (3.3ft) 10 function buttons AXIS 295 Video Surveillance Joystick System Requirements · Windows 2000, Windows XP · USB Port (USB 2.0 Standard) Installation 1. Connect the USB plug to a USB port on your computer. 2. Follow the on-screen instructions (if applicable) to install the necessary drivers. 3. The joystick will appear in the Game Controllers list in the Windows Control Panel on your computer. Open Start > Control Panel > Game Controllers. AXIS 295 Video Surveillance Joystick Troubleshooting If you experience problems during the installation, please check the following: · Disconnect the USB plug from the computer, wait 10 seconds and then reconnect. · Move the USB plug to another available USB port on your computer. · Windows - verify that the operating system (Windows 2000/XP) has identified the joystick under Control Panel > Game Controllers and follow the troubleshooting steps provided.
