De-register all handsets from a Base 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 Remove Base power Press and hold the Page key. Reconnect the Base power. Wait until you hear 4 double beeps. Release the Page key. After a short time you will hear a confirmation tone. Now, all the registrations are removed from your base To Re-register handsets 1 2 3 4 First de-register all handsets Obtain all handsets for the operation Start register handset from handset number 1 with the following setps: Press and hold the Base Page key for 4 seconds until it gives a double beep. This comes on when thehandset batteries are being charged.
To fit the batteries

To make a memory call Off Hook Stage Press MEM Offhook indication LED is blinking slowly Key in the memory location (0 to 9) that you want to dial Dials out the stored number. [No confirmation tone.] An Error Tone is heard if the memory is empty.
You will hear internal dial tone in the earpiece and the caller will be on hold. Press Handset number for the call transfer Hear internal ring back tone Once Connected with second handset Press PHONE key to transfer and hang up OR - press and hold INT key to reconnect to the caller
INT ( ) button
Press and Hold over 2 second for Intercom Call.
PROG / LNR button
When on hook, press to start programming. When off hook, press for Last Number Redial
HANDSET LOCATOR button
Press this to make the handset ring, to help you find it if you've forgotten where you put it.
Leave the handset on the charging cradle for 15 Hours

2 Warnings Dispose of used batteries safely never try to burn them or put them anywhere they could get burnt or punctured. When you are not going to use your Icarus 1210 for a few weeks, take the batteries out so they do not leak corrosive substances. Do not leave dead batteries in your handset they might leak if you do.

Earpiece Volume During a phone call, press VOL to cycle through the different earpiece volume settings. Special error tone If you try to operate an empty memo during online stage, there will be a special error tone heard.

You hear the internal call dial tone Press handset number Ringback tone can be heard Called Handset is ringing Out of range When the handset goes out of range of the base unit, you will hear the Out of Range Tone in the earpiece every 12 seconds. Y must return in ou range of the base soon otherwise the call will be dropped.

To intercept a call The caller is recording a message after the OGM and 'beep ' or To speak to the caller press PHONE or SPEAKER PHONE , The answering machine will stop the recording but keep the message up to the intercept. To record a memo Press P Then 3 to record your memo. 7 Guarantee and service
The Binatone Icarus 1210 is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of purchase shown on your sales receipt. The Guarantee does not cover damage by misuse or negligence, or by excessive voltages for example, faults on the telephone line, or lightning. Please keep your sales (till) receipt this is your guarantee. You should also keep the original packaging material. In the unlikely event that you need to return your Icarus 1210 to our Repair Centre while it is under guarantee, there will be a 5 handling charge. While the unit is under Guarantee 1 2 Disconnect the base unit from the telephone line and the mains electricity supply Pack up all parts of your Icarus 1210, using the original packaging. Remember to include the mains Adapter Return the unit to the shop where you bought it, making sure you take your sales receipt

The line will release after about 10 seconds, unless you enter your security code to enter remote operation. To clear some memory, delete unwanted messages by pressing 4 as the messages play. To switch the answering machine on remotely Call up your answering machine. (You will need to be phoneing from a Tone Dialling phone, or have a T one Dialler Pad.) The answering machine will answer after 12 rings and send three beep. Enter your security code. The call is cut off immediately, but the answering machine will be turned on.
