have had problems with it since day one. works okay when it works. wife not happy with it but need to use it as we have 3 dogs working on it right now again have taken it to repair shop 4 times after warranty ran out.can,t afford that anymore so we do best we can with what we have. sorry but i,m retired and would rather be fishing than working on a vacuum, but have to keep wife happy thx, tom, efficient but capacity limited for larger jobs. I love it, got the machine without a user guide. would like to have a guide to use it properly so i can have a real opinion. the rating above is the result of lack of knowledge on how to use the maching properly. , has worked well. Works great, i own 2 and they are very good machines my son is always borrowing one.. So far, we lke it very much!, motor gave out that operates beater brushes., ththgis machin e is great, hard to figure out without the user guide.

good cleaner, yeah just a little complicated . It would be good if it worked, have had mine for 5 years and this is the only one i will ever own.it does a very good job. , having trouble right now. Have not used yet, the product wsa passed down to me used and still works and looks like new.. Its great but needs a bigger tank, it works good, a good machine., its a good machine... expcept it is not sucking up the water very well right now\.

i owned two, its good for the money. Works well. pretty heavy. only had medium use for 2 years and started having issues. did the job while it was working correctly., it has worked well for me and i've had it for several years., excellent product and has been very reliable for many months. would purchase again.. Would not buy again., great value . It's great, i think the bissell proheat is great, a little hard to operate for my wife. unit is to big and bulky., excellent and saves tons of money from using other expensive companies. i just remove spots on the carpet when i see them then once a year get a professional company to come in and do the entire house..

it does the job it was purchased for but sometimes a professional carpet cleaning service is needed., so so. Ouch...lost a part....no water up take...wet mess haha, heavy, with lots of things i do not use, need to read users manual everyime i usw it. Hard to clean and take apart. brush heats and seizes, love it. I like the deep cleaning it helps to pick up alot of messes, its a great machine, it is a good cleaner, i borrowed one from my son and i think it works very well.

we've owned ours for a couple of years and love it. easy to use and cleans great., good product. This product has worked great for me. i use it ofter, because i have a 2yr old son. great!, good product had 7 years just now having a problem with it, it rocks.. Very good and reliable product., wonderful product, wouldn't be without it. It is very friendly to use., no opinion, some parts are very fragile, i have mine and it no longer suctions the water up out of carpert. i borrowed my friends and it won't spray cleaning solution on the the carpert. if both of these problems were solveed i would say it great, but the more resreach i do it seems to be the two mean problems with this steam cleaner has and bissell hasn't fixed the problem no newer models the have produce..

good machine, once i get the manual i'll be able to use it.

The combination of heated cleaning solution, powered brush and suction provide a safe and effective method of cleaning. SmartTemp® Temperature control automatically heats the cleaning solution as it is being applied to the carpet (*) to safely optimize cleaning effectiveness. SmartTemp Ready Light 1. 2. The Power Switch controls power to the machine; both switches must be ON for SmartTemp to work. The SmartTemp Switch is found on the back of the handle next to the Power Switch. You may choose not to use the SmartTemp feature if you are cleaning delicate wool or oriental rugs. *SmartTemp heats the cleaning solution for carpet and bare floor application only. It does not heat solution sprayed through the accessory tools. ON OFF Power Switch SmartTemp Switch ON OFF 3. The SmartTemp Ready Light indicates when the heater is ON. The heater should be turned on two minutes before cleaning, to become fully warmed up and ready for cleaning. It is found on the front of the handle where it is easy to see while you clean. SmartTemp increases the water temperature approximately 25° and will not allow it to exceed 180.° SmartMix bottle 4. SmartMix® Provides custom control for each cleaning job. 1. 2. 3. 6 Lift the SmartMix concentrate bottle up and out of the machine base. Turn the bottle over so that the valve cap is in an upward position. Unscrew the valve cap and fill the bottle to the mark with BISSELL Fiber Cleansing Formula. Water Rinse / Carpet Protector -This setting must also be used when applying the carpet protectant through the applicator, to prevent the pump from temporarily losing its prime. Normal- automatically provides the best mix of water and concentrate for most cleaning jobs. High Traffic- automatically mixes the right amount of water and concentrate to dissolve tough grime and heavy soil. Note: Residual cleaning materials left in carpet from other products may cause excessive foaming when picked up. If foam is overflowing tank, move SmartMix dial to "Water Only" position until the condition stops. Note: Both the SmartMix Bottle and the clean water tank must have liquid in them in order for the machine to spray. If one tank is empty, the machine will temporarily lose its prime and not apply either cleaning solution or water only.
