The key can be used for the ignition and all locks. See Keys on page 22 and Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) System Operation on page 23. Initial Drive Information This section provides a brief overview about some of the important features that may or may not be on your specific vehicle. For more detailed information, refer to each of the features which can be found later in this owner manual. Door Locks Press K to unlock the driver door or all doors. Press To lock or unlock the door, use the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter or the key from outside the vehicle, and the door lock knob or switch from inside the vehicle. To unlock or lock the fuel door, use the RKE transmitter or the door lock switch from inside. From inside the vehicle, pull the door handle once to unlock it and a second time to open it. See Door Locks on page 24 for additional information. Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) System The Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter will work up to 20 m (65 ft) away from the vehicle. Q to lock all doors. V to open the 7 to locate the Lock and unlock feedback can be personalized. Press and hold trunk. Press and release vehicle. Press and hold 7 for at least two seconds to sound the panic alarm. In Brief Power Door Locks The power door lock switches are located on the center of the instrument panel. 1-5 Windows Seat Adjustment Manual Seats 1. Pull the handle under the seat to unlock the seat. 2. Slide the seat to the desired position and release the handle. Try to move the seat to be sure it is locked in place. K: Q: Press to unlock the doors. Press to lock the doors. See Vehicle Personalization on page 529 for more information. Trunk Release To open the trunk, press V on the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter or press the touchpad under the vehicle emblem. See Trunk on page 27 for additional information. The power window switches are located on the driver door. Each passenger door has a switch that controls only that window. Press the switch to lower the window. Pull the front of the switch up to raise it.
