Trail Scout Remote Setup 1. Move toggle switch to ON position, then move toggle switch to SETUP position. The LCD will display Set Date 01/01/04 2. Press and hold the UP and DOWN button at the same time for 2 seconds, then let go. The LCD will display LEARN 3. Point remote at Trail Scout, press and hold down the SNAP button until red light on the remote goes out, then release. Repeat this 3 more times. 4. Wait 15 seconds, press and hold down the SEARCH button until red light on the remote goes out, then release. 5. Press and hold down the SNAP button until red light goes out on the remote, then release. This will complete remote setup. 6. Turn unit OFF, then back ON. Wait 1 minute and test the remote. 7.
