Usingthetouchscreeniseasy. Simplypressthescreentoactivatea function. Youwillhearabeepwhenyoupressthebutton. NOTE Ifyoudon'thearabeepwhenyoupressthescreen,youmayhave deactivatedthebeep. Pressanydevicebuttontwicetoactivate thebeepfunction. Ifyoustilldon'thearabeep,pressthebuttona littlemorefirmly. Thefollowingillustrationshowsallthefunctionsandtheirrelatedicons availableontheM1+foryourreference. ThischapterwilltellyouhowtosetuptheM1+,howto automaticallyconfiguredevices,andhowtousetheadvancedfeatures suchasthemacros. Beforeyouusethelearningfunction Beforeyoustartconfiguringyourremotecontrolsusingthelearning function,pleaseheedthefollowingprecautions: $ Don'tconfiguremorethanoneremotecontrolforeachdeviceon theM1+. Forexample,don'tuseoneTVremotecontrolfor somefunctionsundertheM1+'sTVdevicescreen,andthenuse adifferentTVremotecontrolforotherfunctions. Configurethe M1+'sdevicebuttonusingonly one remotecontrolforallthe buttons. Ifyouaregoingtoc onfigureadifferentremotecontrolforan M1+devicebuttonafteryouhavepreviouslyconfiguredthe devicebuttonforadifferentremotecontrol,firstdeleteallthe commandsforthedevicebutton. Referto Usingthedeletebank function onpage10. Whenusingthelearningfunction,youmustpresseachbutton within120seconds. Otherwise,theM1+willexitlearningmode andreturntonormaloperationmode. $ $ Whenyoupressthedevicebutton, thebutton'siconwillappear,indicating thatitisthecurrentlyselecteddevice. Whilepointingyourdevice's remotecontrolattheM1+ learningeye,pressthedevice's powerbutton. 1 1 POWER POWER REMOTE CONTROL Whenyouhavefinished mappingallthedesiredbuttons fromyourdeviceremote controltotheM1+,pressthe learnbutton.
