Datalog 3 - SMS Software Application Sheet CYCLOPS Frame Store CCTV Module V1.0 Overview Datalog software module for operation with the VRC Cyclops freeze frame unit, to control the recording of alarm frames by the Cyclops. Connections Com Port Tx Ov Rx Gnd 6 7 8 Relay VRC Cyclops Datalog Computer Alarm Cam 1 Operation The Datalog software will upon alarm provide control signals to a suitable output relay provided by the installer. This output should be connected by the installer to the alarm input for camera one. On the first alarm this output will trigger the frame store. Because of the speed limitations of clearing the Cyclops frame store before further alarm triggering, only the first alarm will trigger storage. When an alarm is `Accepted' by an operator, then the Datalog will select camera 1 channel. Once any alarm is reset by the operator, the Datalog will issue the following key press actions automatically via an RS232 port. 1. Clear 2. Clear Since the keyboard port only supports one keyboard, the Cyclops keyboard must be disabled in order for correct operation.
