SCREEN AND ROLLER ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION Ifyourscreenwasshippedwiththemotorandrolleralreadyinstalled,proceedtostep6. 1. Removeaccessdoor.First,removethe2screwsfromtheends.Besuretosupportthedoorduringthis steptoavoidinjury.Thenliftthedoorslightlyandpullawayfromtheedgeofthecase. 2. Carefullyunpackscreenandrollerassembly.Leavepackingpaperonroller. 3. Toinstallscreenandrollerassembly,insertthemotorendintothemotormountbracketasshowninFig.1. 4. Loosen(butdonotremove)two1/4-20nutssecuringpinendbracket(stageleft)tothecasehousing.Slidethe brackettowardstheendofthecase.Insertthemotorendsquareshaftintothemotorendbracketandsecurewith theclip.Insertthetipoftherollerpinendintothebracketandposition.Tightenthe1/4-20nutssecurely. 5. Completeelectricalhook-upbysnappingmotorwireconnectorintocaseconnector. 6. Carefullyremovepaperandtapefromrollerassembly.DO NOTuseaknifeorsharpobjecttocuttape;youwill damagethescreen. 7 Testinstallationbyrunningscreenupanddownafewtimes.Bepreparedtostopscreen.StandardDutyCycle:1 . Toadjustthedownlimitswitch,pressandholdthedowntactilebuttonuntiltheLEDonbackofswitchturnssolid red.Thiswillputthemotorinlimitsetmode.Turnthewallswitchoverandusethedownbuttononfrontof switch.Pressandholduntilthedesiredtravelpositionisreached.Ifyoutraveltofardownyoucanpresstheupto movethescreenupward.Ifyoupressandletgoofeitherupordownbuttonthemotorwilldoasmalljoginthat directionforfineradjustmentofscreen.Oncedesiredpositionisreachedturnswitchoverpressandholddown tactilebuttonuntiltheLEDonbackofswitchblinksredtwice.Thedownlimitisnowset. 4. Toadjusttheuplimitswitch,pressandholdtheuptactilebuttonuntiltheLEDonbackofswitchturnssolidgreen. Thiswillputthemotorinlimitsetmode.Turnthewallswitchoverandusetheupbuttononfrontofswitch.Press andholduntilthedesiredtravelpositionisreached.Ifyoutraveltofarupyoucanpressthedowntomovethe screendownward.Ifyoupressandletgoofeitherupordownbuttonthemotorwilldoasmalljoginthatdirection forfineradjustmentofscreen.Oncedesiredpositionisreachedturnswitchoverpressandholduptactilebutton untiltheLEDonbackofswitchblinksgreentwice.Theuplimitisnowset. 5. Totestlimitswitchsetting,pressandreleasetheupordownbuttononthewallswitchtooperatethescreen. 6. Replaceswitchandcoverplateonthewall. IMPORTANT NOTE:ThewallswitchisREQUIREDtomakeanylimitswitchadjustments,EVENifathirdpartycontrol systemisused.Therefore,itisadvisedtowiretheswitchorprovidea3-conductorconnectionthatis accessible. Toadjustthedownlimitswitch,slidethe3-positionswitchtothedownposition.Pressandholdthedownbutton torunthescreendowntothedesiredstopposition.Releasethebuttontostopthescreen.DONOTPUSHTHE STOPBUTTON. 4. Whenthescreenisinthedesireddownposition,slidethe3-positionswitchtotheoff(center)position.Thedown limitswitchisnowset. 5. Toadjusttheuplimitswitch,slidethe3-positionswitchtotheupposition.Pressandholdtheupbuttontorunthe screenuptothedesiredstopposition.Releasethebuttontostopthescreen.DONOTPUSHTHESTOPBUTTON. 6. Whenthescreenisinthedesiredupposition,slidethe3-positionswitchtotheoff(center)position.Theuplimit switchisnowset. 7 Totestlimitswitchsetting,makesurethe3-positionswitchisintheoff(center)position.Pressandreleasetheup . ordownbuttononthewallswitchtooperatethescreen. 8.
