Chapter 1. System requirement
Intel Pentium 4 or higher, AMD Athlon XP or higher. USB 2.0 port required for DVD recording CD-ROM DRIVE or internet connection to download the software driver. Attention Please avoid impact. Keep away from high temperature and high moisture.
Chapter 2. Driver installation
There are 2 different types of USB interfaces; USB 1.1 (max speed 12Mbps) and USB 2.0 (max speed 480Mbps). Daytek MyBox supports both USB 1.1 and 2.0 interfaces. However, it is highly recommended to use USB 2.0 for maximum performance.
1. Driver installation for Windows 98/SE
Important: The Software Driver CD must be run before connecting MyBox to your computer. If not, it may not detect MyBox properly. 1) Insert driver CD into CD-ROM drive and run the software driver CD. 2) Power on MyBox. 3) Connect USB cable to MyBox before connecting the USB cable to PC.
4) Click on "Next" button when you see the "USB2.0 Storage Device" message.
5) When you see the message saying "What do you want Windows to do?", select the "Search for the best driver for your device. (Recommend)" and click on "Next" button.

6) Select the "Specify a location" and click on "Browse" button.
7) Specify the USB folder and click on "OK" button.
8) When you get the below wizard, click on "Next" button to install the software driver.

9) Click on "Finish" button to finish software driver installation.
10) DVD burner icon will be created in "My computer" as below;
2. For Windows ME/2000/XP No Driver required for Windows ME/2000/XP. 1) Power on MyBox. 2) Power on PC. 3) Connect USB cable to MyBox before connecting the USB cable to PC. 4) You will see the message saying "USB Mass Storage Device". 5) The DVD Burner Drive icon will be created in "My Computer".
To install DVD burning software to your computer, please refer to the included DVD Burning Software Package (CD and Software Installation Guide). Note: Please refer to the user's manual on the Driver CD for more detail information. 3
