 its great, a good machine. Good machine, good hoover, longest lasting vacuum we've ever had. Not always working, good machine. Great vacuumn but a little complicated, i would never buy anything other than a dyson, 10yr old dyson keeps on going!!, fantastic using the wand, but the handle is rather long, and pick-up in ordinary vacuum mode is weak. its a good all rounder that will last, best ever vac i have had. Damn good machine, in comparison, a very efficient cleaner, espensive...but worth the money. Love the brand quality and originality., could be better in design. Good value for money, works well but is quite old now, had hoover 10 years still going strong, best and easiest to repair machine on the market. easy to use and operate, had it 10 years and this is first time anything has gone wrong hence manual download. Just an average, nothing special, reasonably decent product but tools are really awkward to use, hose constantly becomes disconnected from handle assembly., nice machine. Has worked well for years but now needs a little tlc, good vac. had it for years.. A good cleaner that gives excellent service, a very good vacuum cleaner, a bit heavy but good, easy to use, reasonable weight.. change handle/hose design its ancient, difficulty in emptying cylinder
. Excellent machine, great machine, easy to use and reliable. Ok vaccum cleaner, hard wearing. Overpriced for a vacuum cleaner. the only advantage this has over rivals is that you don't need bags. i also have a miele cat & dog, which is smaller, lighter, less expensive and a lot more powerful., an excellent machine and very hard wearing., stropng and sturdy, strong and sturdy. overall very good, seems a good buy. Has given me good service , its good, very happy. Very good buy, bit flimsy

Twist tools before locating. Wind cable around cable winders, in an anti-clockwise direction.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Always work above the cleaner on the stairs. Unplug the cleaner when not in use. Turn the cleaner off before unplugging from the mains. It is not recommended to use this cleaner on hard floor surfaces without using the wand with one of the accessory tools. The brushbar continues to rotate while the hose is in use. Allow 12 hours for filter to dry. Make sure it is completely dry before replacing in the machine.

Check that tools are clear.

Undo fasteners using a coin and remove soleplate. Empty into a plastic bag (recommended for asthma/allergy sufferers)... Remove any debris and check spindle is clean. To replace the belt Loop belt around brushbar and feed through hole.
Clear the brushbar obstruction. Carefully cut away any threads from the brushbar.

In these cases, contact the Helpline. · When vacuuming, certain carpets may generate small static charges in the clear bin. These are entirely harmless and are not associated with the mains supply. To minimise any effect from this, do not put your hand or insert any object into the clear bin unless you have first emptied it and rinsed it out with cold water. · Do not continue to use the cleaner if any part appears to be faulty, missing or damaged. · Do not carry out any maintenance work other than that shown in this manual or advised by the Helpline, and do not put anything into the openings or moving parts of the machine. · Only use parts produced or recommended by Dyson; failure to do so could invalidate your guarantee.

Wait for dust to settle ...or directly into a dustbin. Check end caps are in place. Using the back of the cleaner as a lever, loop the belt around your thumb.

You may rinse the clear binTM with water. Do not use detergents. Do not immerse the whole cleaner in water. Do not remove bin inner or cone seals. Ensure completely dry before replacing.

Turn belt through 90°, stretch and release over spindle. Belt should be free of twists as shown.

Do not pull on supply cable. Do not use cleaner above you on the stairs. Do not use cleaner near naked flames. Do not leave cleaner near heat sources.

It is strongly recommended that a sensitive person should take care when emptying the clear binTM. We recommend the manufacturers' emptying instructions should be strictly followed. Assessment carried out by BAF indicate that an individual's exposure can be reduced but this does not mean that an individual's allergic symptoms will necessarily diminish. BAF's opinion applies only to the products and allergen stated. The product should be used only for its intended purpose and strictly in accordance with the manufacturers' instructions at all times. Rest the three tabs on the inside of the green bumper strip, before pivoting soleplate into position.
Please note that clearing blockages and changing the belt is not covered under your cleaner's guarantee. Turn power off and unplug before attempting to clear any obstruction or change the belt. Should any part of your machine become blocked it may overheat and stop due to the thermal cut-out being triggered. Unplug from mains and leave to cool down.
Do not place hands under brushbar when in use. Do not use cleaner to pick up water or any other liquid. Do not run over supply cable. Do not use cleaner to pick up burning objects of any kind.
