, i just got it and have barely done any sewing but what ihave dona i liked so far.. Great machine!, i like it. I really like my old work-horse!, great machine, i like it except for the bobbin holder, just got sewing machine need to learn to use.

, it is not too bad. I have had my elna for more than 30 years and i love it. it is such a strong work horse and as long as i keep it cleaned and oiled it runs like a dream. i can't find my manual and i don't remember how to take the cam out. i have tried several combinations and i can't get it to release., great machine., great machine for the novice sewer.. I haven't been able to use it without the manual, machine last manufactured in 1970's - has maintained its value. one of the best "vintage" machines; certainly the best that is capable of doing fancy embroidery stitches. The elna has been a good machine for our family, so much so that my daughter found one just like it on the internet to take to college so she wouldn't have to take mine!, good machine ive had it over 20 years and still runs great , new to this machine, an oldie but a goodie!, it's the best outthere.
need to know how to use it before i rate it, i would give a better rating if i knew how to use it. Wonderful site!, my mom gave me her old elna with no manual. i haven't used it since i was a kid, but i had fun learning on it. i want to see if it still works, but don't remember much about using it., inherited an older machine - not intuitive!! have to find a manual!. It's a very nice, but outmoded, mechanical machine, love it!. Good machine

It is a classic workhorse after 30 years., i used this machine in switzerland years ago. now i want to give it to my granddaughter, i used an elna in switzerland years ago. i brought this model back and am getting it ready to give to my granddaughter. Great machine, old but reliable., very sturdy, heavy machine that still works well 50 years later.. A good looking machine hard to get started with no manual ,stiches neat, thank you, great machine, very reliable., i enjoy using this machine so far. to use the embroidery disks, i need the manual..
i've had it since 1975 and used it off and on as needed. it always works and has never been in for repair (other than routine maintenance). i love it!, good machine. Delighted with my elna su, bought in the 70s. unfortunately lost manual when moving house., well thought out design!, great sewing machine, i love it.. I am still leaerning, super maskine. Super machine, the su is such a terrific machine! got it from my mom when she upgraded to a very smart bernina - and she's still tempted to swop :-)
it's straight forward and easy to use, with great extra features and super dependable - a real trooper!

can't say enough great things about this machine. i'm sorry it took me years to finally have one. , bought mine in 1974. broke twice. love my elna su. . I've had my machine for close to 40 yrs!!! :), great machine, i really love using the 62c freearm su model. it never lets me down and sews through thick and thin fabrics without any problems.
