OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS ELECTRODE DIMENSIONS: 146 mm (L) x 12 mm (dia). BEFORE YOU BEGIN: Remove storage bottle (see picture at right). To condition pH electrode, immerse it in fresh electrode storage solution or pH 4 or 7 buffer for 10-20 minutes before use. For ORP electrode, immerse it in fresh pre-treatment ORP solution for 10-20 minutes before use. DO NOT use deionized water. CALIBRATION: Calibrate according to meter instructions. ALWAYS use fresh calibration solution. See recommended solution below. DURING MEASUREMENT: To avoid contamination, rinse electrode with deionized water before and between measurement. Always stir samples to ensure homogenous mixture. STORAGE: To store electrode, fill storage bottle with fresh electrode storage solution. Replace storage bottle over end of electrode. ACCESSORIES: EC-BU-4BT: pH 4 buffer solution (480 ml), EC-BU-7BT: pH 7 buffer solution (480 ml), EC-RE005: Electrode storage solution (480 ml), EC-ORPPRE: Pretreatment ORP solution (480 ml). EC-ORPQUIN: Quinhydrone 255 (480 ml). Please order calibration standards through our authorised distributors. WARRANTY: The electrode is warranted to be free from manufacturing defects for 6 months from the date of purchase. If repair, adjustment or replacement is necessary and has not been the result of abuse or misuse within the warranty period, please return the electrode to your nearest distributor.
