Please pay attention to the correct mounting position. After the pins were inserted into the opening, the leg fastener must be pressed to the outside until the fastener clicks noticeably into place. The buttons are located in the center of the wheel: L1 and L2 on the left, R1 and R2 on the right, and MODE, START, SELECT and TUNING in the middle. Right in the centre is the silver steering cross with the direction keys for navigation in the game menu or for selecting the different settings in TUNING mode. The left gear lever has been assigned to the "L3 button" and the right gear lever to the "R3 button". If you want to drive using the manual shift, you must configure and store this assignment in the game (recommended). 3 If a setting is not possible in the game, you can change the assignment of the shift levers. For more information, see "Tuning". Above the keys in the centre of the steering wheel are three status LEDs. 3.1.2 The Wheel Unit The steering wheel is tied on the console. The attachments for the table fastener or leg fasteners are on the bottom side. s 3.2 Operating Modes The SPEEDSTER®PURE is provided with 2 different operating modes that are displayed by the LEDs on the steering wheel. The modes can be changed with the MODE switch. The analogue mode will be automatically selected with up-to-date games. 3.2.1 Digital Vibration-mode The digital mode was developed to ensure full compatibility with older (PS one® and PlayStation® ) games. With racing games that support a vibration function, this function will be in evidence in the appropriate situations, such as during a collision with another vehicle or a wall. 3.2.2 Analog Vibration-mode The SPEEDSTER ® PURE analog mode enables the precise amount of movement required. This mode emulates the analog function of the Analog Controller (DUALSHOCK®) and the Analog Controller (DUALSHOCK® 2). Here, too, the vibration effect can be felt with the corresponding software (see above). 3.1.3 The Pedals The left pedal is the brake and the right pedal acts as the accelerator. If the analog mode is supported by the game, the pedals are pressure sensitive. 4 s 3.3 Tuning By pressing the "TUNING" button, you switch to Tuning mode, and can make several settings to adjust the SPEEDSTER ® PURE to the game or to your own driving style. The settings are displayed by the three status LEDs. The settings are deleted if the console is switched off or the steering wheel is disconnected. 3.3.2 Sensitivity This function adjusts the in-game reaction of the car to the steering. With setting 3, a slight steering already causes a sharp bend. With setting 0, you have to turn into completely for the same bend. 1. Press "TUNING" 2. This area can be extended, or completely eliminated if you want every steering wheel movement to immediately result in a reaction by the car. 1. Press "TUNING" 2. Press "TUNING" to leave tuning mode Setting 0 1 2 3 LED GREEN + RED + YELLOW GREEN RED YELLOW Comment Off (Standard) Easy Medium Hard 2 3 3.3.3 Programming Both shift levers can be assigned with different functions. - Press "TUNING" - Press the shift lever you want to change - Press the desired function (e.g. key "R2") Now you can reassign the other shift lever or leave programming mode by pressing "TUNING". The function of the pedals can also be changed. Some games can be controlled more precisely by using the right mini joystick of the analogue controller (DUALSHOCK® or DUALSHOCK®2) for accelerating or braking. 5 ACCELERATOR PEDAL: - Press "TUNING" - Touch accelerator pedal lightly - Press direction key "up" - Press "TUNING" The accelerator pedal now has the function "right mini joystick forward". BRAKE PEDAL: - Press "TUNING" - Touch brake pedal lightly - Press direction key "down" - Press "TUNING" The brake pedal now has the function "right mini joystick backward". Please note that the key definition in the game must be changed accordingly! Placement The product should be situated away from heat sources such as radiators, or other products that produce heat. Operate in an environment where temperatures range from 5°C - 35°C. Do not use the product on an unstable surface. The product may fall, causing serious injury to a child or adult and serious damage to the product. Do not use the product near water. Do not leave the steering wheel on the floor. Object entry Never push objects of any kind into the product through openings as they may touch dangerous voltage points that could result in a fire or electric shock. Handling Do not throw, let the steering wheel or pedals drop, or allow any solid objects to fall onto the peripheral or its accessories. When transporting the steering wheel, do not subject it to any strong impact. Doing so may cause malfunction. Do not twist or pull the cable too strongly. s 4.0 Cleaning And Care Cleaning Unplug the SPEEDSTER ® PURE from the console before cleaning it. Clean the steering wheel and pedals with a soft cloth slightly moistened with a mild detergent solution. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners such as benzene or paint thinner. When using a synthetic duster, refer to the precautions supplied with it. NOTE: ! 6 Never disassemble or modify the SPEEDSTER ® PURE. If the SPEEDSTER ® PURE is still not working, turn off the console and disconnect the SPEEDSTER ® PURE. Re-connect it and turn on your console again. 5.2 The Vehicle Drifts In A Certain Direction The SPEEDSTER ® PURE needs to be re-calibrated. Turn the console off and on again. Please touch neither the steering wheel nor the pedals when switching on the console. 5.3 The Vehicle's Reactions Are Too Sensitive/Too Slow Open the Options menu of the game and adjust the steering sensitivity.
