Regular testing and maintenance of your alarms in accordance with the user's manual instructions can help provide added protection for you and your family. If an alarm ever fails to test properly, replace the batteries and test the alarm again. If the alarm still fails to test properly, REPLACE IT IMMEDIATELY. In the event that an alarm is dropped during tabletop use or during the installation process, confirm the alarm is fully functioning by testing the alarm.
