It can monitor any level of line signals. The Model 6301B can be directly connected to the outputs of tape recorders and electronic musical instruments, or through recording mixers and multitrackers. There are Two Versions in the Model 6301B. The one is the Balanced Type equipped with both 1/4 inch Phone Jack and Cannon Type Jack. The other one is the Unbalanced Type equipped with 1/4 inch Phone Jack only. Notes on Operating The front panel volume control must always be set to minimum when switching on the monitor amplifier or plugging the cable into the input jack. The volume control is then advanced to a comfortable listening level. The internal power amplifier is protected against overloading, such as at short term accidental short circuiting when an external speaker is plugged into the rear panel jack, by an automatic recovery protection sircuit.
