#779 SHARK CLASSIC WATCH INSTRUCTIONS FEATURES: · CURRENT TIME · DAY/MONTH/DATE · TWO DAILY ALARM · HOURLY CHIME · STOPWATCH · OPTIONAL 24-HR. TIME · WATER RESISTANT TO 300FT/100M · NIGHT VISIONTM BACK LIGHT KEY TO SYMBOLS - For Time display format, "TM" label marks are displayed at the top of left row. - Hours, minutes and seconds are displayed at the center row. - Press and hold S4 for 3 seconds to enter setting mode, the second digits start flashing. - Press S1 (forward) to adjust the flashing digits. Press and hold S1 for fast scrolling. - Press S3 to select the next digits or 12/24H for setting. The setting sequence is shown as follows: SECOND S3 S3 S3 12/24H DAY S3 MONTH HOUR S3 MINUTE S3 S3 YEAR LIGHT S1 S3 S2 LIGHT BUTTON: In order to activate the light feature on this display, simply press the light button. The light will remain on for a few seconds after you release your finger. - When setting seconds, pressing S1 while the second digits count between 30 to 59 will reset the second digits to 00 and 1 will be added to the minute digits. On the other hand while second digits small then 30 will reset the second digits to 00 and 1 will not added to the minute digits. - Year can be set from 2000 to 2049. - When setting 12/24H, press S1 to toggle 12-hour or 24-hour display formats. If 24-hour display format is selected, there will be no PM symbol will be display. - After all adjustments are complete, press S4 to exit setting mode and weekday will be adjusted automatically. Remarks: 1. If there is no button operation for 2-3 minutes in setting mode, the display will automatically return back to Time mode or other mode respectively. HOW TO USE DATE MODE - Press S3 to display DATE, "DT" label marks are displayed at the left row. - Month, day and day of week are displayed at the center row. HOW TO USE ALARM AND CHIME the bottom right column. - Press S2 to select "AL-1" or "AL2". - Press and hold S4 for 3 seconds to enter setting mode. Alarm minute digits start flashing. Alarm is set to "on" automatically when enter setting mode. - Press S1 (forward) to adjust the flashing digits. Press and hold S1 for fast scrolling. - Press S3 to select next digits. - When setting chime, press S1 to toggle the chime function on or off. If the chime function is "on", the chime icon will be displayed. - After all adjustments are complete, press S4 to exit the setting mode. - Press S1 to toggle the alarm function on or off. If the alarm function is "on", the alarm icon will be displayed. The alarm icon is displayed at the bottom right. Remarks: 1. There are 2 alarms that work independently presented by A1/A2, alarm number, hours, minutes and status. 2. The alarm sounds for 20 seconds if the alarm function is "on". Press any button to stop the alarm sound. 3. If the chime function is "on", the product will be button confirmation sound. 4. If 24-hour display format is selected for time mode, there is no PM symbol "PM" for alarm time. 5. If there is no button operation for 2-3 minutes in setting mode, the display will return back to Alarm mode automatically. HOW TO USE CHRONOGRAPH Reset Run Split HOW TO USE TIMER R 1 sec auto R R press S1 to start S1 R R Stop Start S1 BASIC OPERATION OF BUTTONS S1: - Forward selection of data number - start/stop chronograph - toggle alarm on or off S2: - Split/ reset chronograph - Select alarm 1 or alarm 2 S3: - Mode change - Select setting (set or calibration) S4: - Back light - Enter setting mode (press and hold) - Exit (setting mode) MODE CHANGE OPERATION The mode change sequence is shown as follows: TIME S3 DATE S3 ALARM CHRONOGRAPH TIMER S3 S3 S3 15 sec - Press S1 to start the Timer. - Press S1 again to stop the Timer. Then press S2 to go back preset the Timer. The Timer now shows the Timer is ready for running again. - Press and hold S4 for 3 seconds to enter setting mode, the second digits start flashing. - Press S1 (forward) to adjust the flashing digits. Press and hold S1 for fast scrolling. - Press S3 to select the next digits or Counter Repeat, Counter Stop for setting. The setting sequence is shown as follows: S3 SECOND S3 MINUTE S3 HOUR S3 Counter Repeat S1 Counter Repeat S3 Auto count-down R R S1 R R S1 auto Hold S2 for 2 seconds until the user to stop. R R aut R R Chime icon Alarm icon - Press S1 to start the chronograph. - For the first hour, minutes, seconds and 1/100 second are displayed. Then hours, minutes and seconds are displayed. 1-second resolution after first hour. - Press S2 to split time, it will show "SPL" for 15 second. Then the display will show current running times of chronograph. - Press S1 again to stop the chronograph. Then press S2 to go back preset the chronograph. The chronograph now shows all zeros and is ready for running again. Remarks: 1. The chronograph is of 1/100second resolution for first hour and 1-second resolution for the reset and with working range up to 24 hours, then the chronograph stops automatically. - After all adjustments are complete, press S4 to exit setting mode. HOW TO RESET THE DISPLAY Press and hold S1, S2, S3 buttons simultaneously, all segments will be "on", then release the buttons and the display will be reset. After reset, test patterns will be shown for a few seconds and finally the display will be as follows: HOW TO USE TIME MODES - For Time display format, "AL" label marks are displayed at the left row. - A1/A2 and alarm number are displayed at the right column. Alarm time (hours and minutes) is displayed at the middle. Alarm status (on or off) is displayed at Remarks: 1. Default the Time start at 12:00am 2. Default the Year is on 2002 BATTERY REPLACEMENT Replace the exhausted battery with a CR2016 cell or equivalent. WARRANTY INFORMATION Freestyle U.S.A. warrants, to the original purchaser, that its watches are free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ten (10) years under normal use. The warranty excludes batteries, crystal, watch case plating, and strap/ bracelet/ band. The warranty excludes normal wear and tear and abuse. Special note: Freestyle® watches are designed and engineered to be highly water-resistant, and to withstand the most active of lifestyles. The most important component in keeping your watch water-resistant is the case back Oring, which prevents water from entering the watch through the case back. Water leakage most often occurs after improper battery replacement. We strongly recommend having a certified jeweler, watch repair technician or Freestyle's service center replace your battery. Water leakage due to improper battery replacement is not covered under warranty. Should your Freestyle ® watch require warranty service, send it along with the following: 1. A copy of your sales receipt 2. Your printed name and address 3. Your telephone number 4. A brief description of the problem 5. Please include $8.50 for processing and handling, using one of the following payment methods: -Check -Money order -Credit card (be sure to include card number and expiration date) REMEMBER: NEVER INCLUDE A SPECIAL WATCHBAND OR ANY OTHER PERSONAL ARTICLES OF VALUE IN YOUR SHIPMENT. Please allow 30 days for return of your watch. Neither this warranty, nor any other warranty expressed, is assumed for any incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to the mathematical accuracy of the product. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusions of or limitations on consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state. This warranty applies to watches purchased in the United States. For watches purchased outside the United States, please contact your authorized Freestyle® dealer for warranty information. If your watch requires servicing not covered under our warranty (battery, crystal, strap/bracelet/band, watch case plating), or refurbishing, complete the return form (next column) and return with your watch.
