CREATE AN ACCOUNT
To play M LB 0 7 The Show TM online. you will need to create an account . and th en choose a unique screen name and pass word. You can save up to six accounts , including passwor d with the M LB Account M anager. You will be given th e option to fill out your Online Pro file For m. The Profile Form allows you to enter impor t ant personal information and notification settings. The notification settings ar e for Leagues and Pr om otions and you can decide how you want to receive them , either through email or text m essage. In the Online Home, you can navigate your way to any of th e online men u options. Jump into a game right away with the new Play Now feature . which matches you up right away with the next opponent. using default rated game settings. Pre ss ~ on Play Ball and you can chose between Play Now and entering a Game Room . Also in Online Home you can post m essages on th e message boards. send mail, join or create Leagues, view and edit your Player Car d, and much more.
Game Rooms vary from Rookie and Veteran t o All-Star and mor e- essen t ially giving gamer s with any skill level a place to play. Highlight the Game Room and pr ess ~ to enter. Y can challenge an opponent to ou either an Exhibition or league game. You can also 1 a player or add a player to your M buddy list. At any time you can check on the game status of players that are already in a game online in that game ro om.
The Chat Area/Selecting a Game
Available games ar e listed in the player list of the game room ...Y can scr oll through ou the player list and see if anyone online is available for a gam e by checking th e icon status. A baseball means they are in game, a glove means they are available for a game or to chat with. Whil e looking for a gam e, you can re ad all the r eal-time chatting betwe en potential opponents on th e Chat Ar ea side... J oin in the trash ta lking or sear ch for valuable infor mation about your opponents . Anyone online in the same Game Room can
view your chat messag es and participate in the dialog. To post a chat, from the chat screen, highlight the bottom chat bar or use a USB keyboar d. Type in a message and enter it. Your message will be displayed in the chat window. To select an opponent for a game, highlight a name from the list of players in the Game Room and press ~ . A Player List pop up will appear giving you game options to select . You can set the game options, view your opponent's Online Player Card, and start th e game .
Leaderboards
Leaderboards show in r eal time your ra nk ing among all MLB 0 7 The ShowTM players. Each r anking is listed by point total and provide detai ls of team sta tistics. The Affiliation leader boards option shows all user stets with the same team affiliations.
Guitting Games
After accepting challenges or joining games, you must finish the entire contest or else you will lose points from your over all ran king and sta tistics.
Online League Play
Online leagues allow you to cre ate or join new leagues and playa set number of ser ies. Ther e will be full stat tracking and points will be awar ded for playing Online Leagues. Online user s will comp et e in leagues to ultimately win their division,go to the playoffs and become League Champion. Y can cre ate a league and ou become League Commissioner to run your league how you see fit . As a Commissioner you can cr eate a league with up to 30 teams and all the sett ings that you wish to have. Online leagues are the best way to find out w.ho is the best in a league form at.
Online Player Card
The new Online Player Card allows you to see your Pro file or when available see other online users Player Card . It also allows you to see Per sonal Player Info, League Info, Player Prog ression, Stat istics and ML B Achievemen ts . It is a great way to see how you ar e doing online or to view pote ntial league or exhibition opponents.
My Sliders
Create ideal game settings offline, and then upload to the MLB 07 The ShowTM server for oth er s to view, download and tryout on their own tim e offline. They can then go back online and rate the game setting. This gives each user an oppor tunit}/ to tune the game the way t hey like it and shar e with othe r online users .
MLB Uve Rosters
Y will be able to download Live Roster updates for reg ular and online play. ou Live rosters represent the current ro sters of M LB teams including all player mo ves, injuries, and attribute updates. Wh en you go online, the latest Live Roster will automatically be downloaded on to your game. T play online, you o must have the latest Live Roster update. Y will then be prompted to ou save the roster.
EXHIBITION MODE
When selecting teams for the game, you are able to select from this year's MLB team s, as well as bonus teams including the All-Star team . Beneath the tea m symbol are r ankings th at br eak down the team 's attribut es.The team options include selecting team jer seys, changing your gam e settings, selecting your star ting pitcher, setting your batting order, and choosing the stadium in which to play the game. Exhibition games are a one-gam e format and stats from these game s cannot be saved to a MEMORY CARO unless a user pro file is loaded prior to the Exhibition Mode select ion

Message Boar ds provide a place for players to discuss all-things baseball and any other topic of inter est .
CAREER MODE
Mail
The Ma ilbox enables you to send pri vate mail messages to any online player as long as you have their user name[s]. Sending m ail is a per fect way to conta ct your fr iends about game sta rt times or to just talk baseball. Choose fro m the new Road to the Show or Classic car eer m odes. In Road to the Show, you can play both offense and defense from your custom-created player 's perspective. The game will automatically fast-for war d to the next player sequence in which you need to take control, with occa sional situational goals coming up from coaches and manager s that need to be completed. The goal for both care er modes is to cre ate a player and build a successful car eer earning post season and career awar ds. Ultimately you want to get your cr eated player inducted to the Hall of Fame. Choose fro m two differ ent Car eer types: Road to the Show and Class ic. A Career can be up t o 10 seasons or longer if your player is still performing well. Thro ughout th e career, you'll take your player through the ups and downs of the Majors and Minor s; he'll go through situ ations not unlike r eal major leaguer s including trades, fre e agency, contract issues, pro motions, and demotions.
Enhanced MLB Sportscast
View all M ajor League Baseball games live. You can see the scor e, position of base ru nners, balls, strikes, outs , and more all in r eal-time. By highlight ing any game on the Icon Ticker you can get up to date scor es and see the stat us of the game in actua l r eal-time.

Create Player and Select Team To begin a Car eer, you need to create a player and assign him to a team in
eam Select hopes of getting a contract offer after Spr ing Training. From any T screen , pay attention to the Competition char t . This helps you pick your spot to make your shot at the big leagues. If the parent club has a perennial All-Star at your position or a hot rook ie waiting in the minors, you're going to need an outs tanding spring to make the team.

of the opportunities that your player gets . As Spring Tr aining progresses,
keep track of his stat us using th e Care er Locker Room M enu. As your prospect 's statu s climbs, the MLB Status Meter moves through the Rookie, Pro , Veter an, All-Star; and Hall of Fame levels. Once he re aches a cer tain level, he can be offer ed a lucr ati ve contract.
Franchise Progress
Franchise Progr ess is a good way to see which way your franchise is heading. You can hear fan and player feedback, see the team budget, and view your goals.
