Remote Compact Disc ATC System (Optional)
If you have the optional remote CD player, you can play normal size or 8 cm discs by following these directions:
To load CD into the player, hold the disc the label side up and insert it with carefully into the player (approximately half way). To Remove Spare Tire:
The spare tire may be stored under the vehicle in an underbody carrier.
Remember, never removeor restore a tire from an underbody carrier whil vehicle is supported only by a jack. If you havea chassis cab, refer to the information from the body supplier/installer for the location your spare tire. of

Follow these instructions to lower the spare tire:
1. One sideof the ratchet has anUP marking. The other side has DOWN a marking. Assemble the ratchet to the hook near the end of the jack hand (as illustrated) with the DOWN marking facing you. Insert the other e through the hole the rear bumper and into the hoist shaft. in turn 2. Turn the ratchet to lower the spare tire to the ground. Continue tothe ratchet until the spare tire can be pulled out from under the vehicle. 3. When the tire has been lowered, tilt the retainer at the end of theso cable it can be pulled up through the wheel opening.

To Restore Spare or Flat Tire;
1. Lay the tire on the ground at the rear of the vehicle. Position the tire so that the valve stem is pointed down and to the rear.
2. Tilt the retainer downward and through the wheel opening. sure the Make retainer is fully seated across the underside wheel. of the
3. Attach the ratchet, with the p marking facing you, near the hook at the U end of the jack handle as illustrated. Insert the other end, on an angl through the holein the rear bumper and into the hoist shaft.
4. Raise the tirefully against the underside of vehicle. Continue turning the ratchet until there are two "clicks" or "ratchets." The spare tire hoist cannot be over-tightened.
5. Grasp and push against the tire to be sure it is stored securely and does not move.
