Chapter 2: Installation NOTE: INSERT the CD and install the Driver before plugging the TX-100 device in your computer! 2.1 Hardware Installation
The TX-100 has the following connections: 1. USB 2.0 Port  The USB Connection for TX-100 is for USB2.0 connections only. 2. S-Video  If you have video sources with an S-Video output, you can connect an S-Video cable to TX-100 to capture from S-Video sources. Generally S-Video provides improved video quality over RCA (composite) video source. 3. Video In  Use the supplied A/V cable to connect other video sources to this video input jack. 4. Audio L  Connect left-hand stereo channel (audio input) here, using the white connector. 5. Audio R  Connect right-hand stereo channel (audio input) here, using the red connector.

2.2 Driver and Software Installation The Installation of the TX-100 driver and software is quick and simple. Please, do not connect the TX-100 hardware to your PC before installing the drivers. Note 1: Check your Windows OS version. You should use Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 or higher, Windows XP Home or Service Pack 1 or higher minimum. Current service packs and critical updates are available from http://windowsupdate.micorsoft.com Note 2: Together, the TX-100 and Win DVD Creator support two types of MPEG-4 compression: · Real-time MPEG-4 compression, with file extension *.avi, is supported by the TX-100. · Real-Time DivX® compression (with WinDVD Creato2 software), with file extension *.avi, is also supported by the TX-100. The TX-100 hardware encoder can capture video and compress it using MPEG-4 or DivX® with Intervideo WinDVD Creator2, saving valuable space on your hard disk. You can play this MPEG-4 and DivX® video and view it on your computer. You can even edit it or convert it into another format by using Win DVD Creator. DivX® compressed video is a popular format for sharing files on the Internet. DivX® files are playable with Windows Media Player with a DivX® decoder (see http://www.DivX.com/) and with other decoders available on the Internet

Install Driver Insert the TX-100 CD into your CD-ROM drive, please click "Install Driver" button on the launch screen.
The Install Shield Wizard will lead you to install the driver automatically, please click "Next" to continue.
Click "Finish", the driver installation is complete. Now, you can plug the TX-100 to the PC and Windows will found the TX-100 device.

Chapter 3: FAQ 1. How can I check the driver installation is successful? If driver and hardware have been installed successfully, the TX-100 should be recognized by Windows OS, and you shall be able to find the product name list on the "Device Manager." Please, go to check as following:
Click the icon "My Computer" "Control Panel" "System" "Hardware" "Device Manager" Choose "Sound, video, and game controllers", you should see "WIS GO7007SB A/V Capture." If you do not find the device name or there is a mark of "!" or "?" in front of the device, it must be some improprieties or failures in the installation process. Please, remove the driver and reinstall it again. Chapter 4. Install the WinDVD Creator 2 Software To install the WinDVD Creator video capture and authoring software: 1. Turn ON your computer system. 2. Make sure that all applications are turned off. NOTE: If you have a previous version of WinDVD Creator, uninstall it before installing WinDVD Creator 2. (To uninstall, go to Start | Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs, select WinDVD Creator, and uninstall it and all its components.) 3. Insert the TX-100 software disc into your CD or DVD drive. You see the H&B Application Installer screen. (If you don't see the installer screen right away, use Windows Explorer to navigate to the CD or DVD drive, and double-click the tx100.exe file.) 4. Select the WinDVD Creator button. You see the WinDVD Creator Setup screen. 5. Click Next. You see the License Agreement. 6. Read the License Agreement, and then click Yes. Click Yes again. You see the User Information window. 7. Enter your Name, your Company, and the Serial Number for the product. (The serial number is located on the software CD envelope.) Then select Next. You see the Destination path screen.

8. Accept the default destination path proposed by the setup program and click Next. You see the Select Program Folder screen. 9. Accept the default program folder as the location where the setup program will add WinDVD Creator's icons, or enter the name of another folder. Then click Next. The setup program installs WinDVD Creator, a process that can take a few minutes. (You may see a Third Party Application Setup window, asking if you want to install Microsoft HTML Help. Click Next to install Microsoft HTML Help.) 10. When the installation is completed, you see the Setup Complete screen, asking if you want to restart your computer now. 11. Remove any discs from their drives, then click Finish to restart your computer. When the installation is complete and Windows reboots, you see program icons in the Windows Start menu. Startup To launch WinDVD Creator: On the computer, go to Start | Programs | InterVideo WinDVD Creator 2 and select WinDVD Creator. When you start WinDVD Creator, you see the WinDVD Creator task window. Documentation on how to use WinDVD Creator can be found onto the TX-100 CDROM in Acrobat® PDF format.
