Power source wire connection Insert the power plug into AC outlet. Install and replace batteries of the remote control unit: 1.Place the remote control unit with the face down, then open the battery cover of the unit. 2.Place the two"AA"size batteries, matching the + and - signs on each battery to the + and -signs of the battery compartment. 3.Close the cover of the battery compartment. NOTE: (1)Don't drop or wet or dismantle the unit. (2)If you don't intend to use the unit for a long period or the electricity of the batteries is used up, remove the batteries to prevent batteries acid from leaking into the battery compartment. (3)Replace the two old batteries at the same time. (4)Don't use charge battery (Ni-cd )and don't mix battery type. (5)Don't throw your batteries into a fire. Dispose of your batteries in a required place. The red power indicator will light. 2. Press the power switch button on the remote controller to enter normal receiving condition when the TV set is in standby condition. TUNING PROCEDURE There are Auto-search, Semi-Auto search and Fine tuning method. Auto-search 1.Press [MENU] button to let TUNING menu display on the screen, then press [-CH+] buttons to select AUTO MEMORY . 2. Press [VOL+] button to make the AUTO MEMORY mode work, the TV set will begin to search programs from program number 0. After the search is finished, program number 0 will display on the screen. Note: During auto-search, if you want to stop searching, press [VOL-] button. (For example: channel 1). 2.Press [MENU] button to let TUNING menu display on the screen, Then press [-CH+] buttons to select SEARCH item. 3.Press [-VOL+] buttons to start searching. [VOL+] button is to search the program from low FC. [VOL-] button is to search the program from high FC. Repeat above procedure until you find the channel you need. TUNING POSITION BAND SKIP SEARCH MFT AUTO MEMORY 01 VL OFF DOWN UP 49.87 MHZ SELECT ADJUST 8 TUNING PROCEDURE Skip After pre-tuning the channel, you can skip the channel you do not need in order to only select the channel you want to watch. 1.Press [-CH+] buttons or numeric button(0~9) to select the channel number skipped(for example: channel 1). 2.Press [MENU] button to let TUNING menu display on the screen, then press [-CH+] buttons to select SKIP item. 3.Press [-VOL+] buttons to set SKIP ON mode. 4.Press [DISPLAY] button to shut off the menu. The channel number will be skipped when you use[-CH+] buttons to select channels. But you can still use numeric button to select the channel number skipped. Note: 1.You can use the numeric button to select the channel number that need recover. 2.Press [MENU] button to let the TUNING menu appear on the screen, then press [-CH+] buttons to select SKIP. 3.Press [-VOL+] buttons to set SKIP OFF mode. POSITION BAND SKIP SEARCH MFT AUTO MEMORY 01 VL OFF DOWN UP 49.87 MHZ SELECT ADJUST 3.Press and hold [-VOL +] buttons until the effects of the picture and audio are good. [VOL -] button is to search program from high FC. [VOL+] button is to search program from low FC. TUNING POSITION BAND SKIP SEARCH MFT AUTO MEMORY 01 VL OFF DOWN UP 49.87 MHZ SELECT ADJUST 10 PICTURE AND AUDIO ADJUSTMENT FUNCTION Picture mode selection You can select the picture mode you need quickly in five preset modes and a user's personal set. Press [ P.STD] button to select the picture quality you need. There are six picture modes you can select in turn. DYNAMIC, STANDARD, MILD, MEMORY , PICTURE MUTE and COLOR MUTE. The picture status will be stored to the COLOR MUTE item.
