By placing the ADSL signal above the frequency of the voice signal, ADSL service is able to coexist on the same line with your telephone service. The Hawking ADSL series provide ANSI T1.413 issue 2, ITU-T G.hs, G.dmt and G.lite, allowing high-speed connections over a single twisted pair and ensuring widespread interoperability with service providers' ADSL systems. The AR740 provides an always-on connection to your phone company's central office through the existing phone line and you can also make your voice calls simultaneously.
