Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS L60R - DELUXE HEAVY DUTY CLOTHES DRYER EASY TO INSTALL/EASY TO USE
USING DRYER:
BEFORE OPENING DRYER, BE CERTAIN ALL LINES ARE HANGING FREELY. GENTLY PULL ARMS AWAY FROM UPPER COLLAR. · TO OPEN: Pull up on cord of lower collar to release ratchet, raise arms as far as they will go and release cord. To make lines tight, push collar up by hand. · TO CLOSE: Pull out on cord of lower collar to release ratchet, pull down on arms and release cord. WARNING: DAMAGE CAN OCCUR IF NOT USED AS NOTED.
GROUND SOCKET INSTALLATION
THE DRYER WILL BE MORE STABLE IF THE GROUND SOCKET IS SET IN CONCRETE. WE RECOMMEND USING STANDARD CONCRETE MIX. 1. Select a suitable site ensuring sufficient space for the dryer to rotate when the arms are fully extended. 2. Dig a hole approximately 10" deep x 10" in diameter. 3. Fill bottom of hole with small stones approximately 5" deep (for tube drainage). 4. Place the ground socket in position leaving the top of the socket flush with the surface. 5. Fill remaining space in the hole with cement mix following instructions on the package. Be sure to keep the ground socket cover closed so no mix gets into the tube. 6. To insure ground socket is standing straight, temporarily place the dryer into the ground socket while the mixture is still soft. Adjust the socket, remove the dryer and let the concrete mix harden.
RATCHETING HEIGHT ADJUSTER
TO ADJUST HEIGHT:
· TO LOWER ARMS: With dryer partially open, pull out on cord of upper collar to release ratchet and lower it to desired height. Pull up on cord of lower collar and raise collar to tighten lines. · TO RAISE ARMS: Depress catch at top of upper collar and push collar up. Pull up on cord of lower collar to release ratchet and raise collar to tighten lines.
TO READJUST SAGGING LINES:
· After a time you may wish to increase the tension of the individual lines. Lower bottom collar to make lines loose. Untie, adjust and re-tie each line.
