Be sure to observe the polarity markings which are engraved inside the battery compartment, then close the cover. Note : Do not mix different type of battery or old batteries with new ones. Insert the AC adaptor's cable plug tip into the DC IN 6V Jack at the back of the unit, then insert the moulded plug (with blades) into the wall outlet. Note : Always Power off the unit before switching to AC adaptor supply. In the event of AC power cut/off, user needs to readjust the Time and Alarm. Press other buttons may also turn on the backlight plus activating their associated function. Controls Setting Clock Time 1. Press POWER till the POWER LED turns off. 2. Press & hold TIME SET for about 2 seconds. The `HOUR` digits will flash. Press UP / DOWN to set the hour. Press TIME SET to confirm the hour set. After this, the `MINUTE` digits will flash. Press UP / DOWN to set the minute. Press TIME SET to confirm the minute set. Then the `WEEKDAY` Indicator will flash. Press UP / DOWN to select the desired weekday (MON to SUN), press TIME SET to confirm the weekday set. 3. At any stage, if no key is pressed within the next 7 seconds (time out period), the last selected value is automatically saved. If USB Drive is not docked or battery power is too low to play the USB drive, then buzzer will sound instead. Press SNOOZE/LIGHT to silent the USB/Buzzer temporarily for approx. 9 minutes. The Snooze function is repeatable in the next 120 minutes. 2. Press POWER or AL SET to cancel Snooze and reset the Alarm. The ` ` icon disappears. The alarm will sound again tomorrow at the same time. 3. The USB/Buzzer alarm will be reset automatically if no key is pressed in the next 120 minutes. User MUST use the AC adaptor when playing iPod shuffle, otherwise the battery power will be drained away by the iPod. Always power off before inserting/removing the USB to/from the USB Port. 3. Insert the USB Drive and press POWER till the POWER LED turns on. 4. The LCD displays "rEAd", then the first track "0001" is played automatically. On some MP3 Player you may need to press V II to start playing. 5. Use the Buttons on this unit to control the playback. Short press Icv jump to the cv or I to previous/next track. Long press Ic v scroll backward/forward to other tracks. Press c I to fast or v V II to play/pause. 6. Press + / ­ to turn the volume up/down, "L: 0 to L:15" is displayed.
