POWER SUPPLY
USING HOUSE CURRENT Beforeuse,checkthattheratedvoltageofyourunitmatches yourlocalvoltage. USING BATTERIES Disconnect the AC power cord from the AC inlet of the unit. Battery power is cut automatically by the cord while it is connected.

3. Insertadiscwiththelabelsidefacingup. 4 . Close the CD door. The disc will rotate and the total tracks of the disc will show on the display.
2. OpentheCDdoorbypushing CD Door Open / Close button.

Press the Play / Pause button. Track number " 1 " will be shown.
CD display TO INTERRUPT PLAYBACK Press the Play/Pause button. Pressthebuttonagaintoresumeplayback. TO STOP PLAYBACK Press the STOP button and the display shows the total tracks of the disc.
CD display TO SKIP TO THE BEGINNING OF A TRACK · Presseitheroneoftheskipbuttonsaccordingtothedesiredskipdirection. · Play/back resumes from the selected track. · Whenthebuttonispressedonceduringplay,theprevioustrackstartsagain. · Whenthebuttonispressedonceduringplay,thenexttrackplays. SEARCHING FOR A PASSAGE WITHIN A TRACK · Keeptheorbuttonpressedduringplayback, andreleasethebuttonassoonasyourecognisethedesired passage.ThennormalCDplaybackwillresumefromthispoint. GB 3

REPEAT PLAYBACK
Thisfunctionallowsasingletrackoralltracksonadisctobeplayedrepeatedly.
TO REPEAT THE SAME TRACK Press the REPEAT button once during playback, Repeat indicatorwillilluminateandkeepflashing.
TO REPEAT THE WHOLE DISC Press the REPEAT button twice until repeat indicator willlighten.
TO CANCEL REPEAT PLAYBACK FUNCTION PresstheREPEATbuttonagainuntilrepeatindicatoroff.
Note on CD-R/RW discs - Becauseofnon-standardizedformatdefinition/productionofCD-R/RW,playbackqualityandperformancearenot guaranteed. - ManufacturerisnotresponsiblefortheplayabilityofCD-R/RWduetorecordingconditions,suchasPCperformance, writingsoftware,mediaability,etc. - Do not attach a seal or label to either side of the CD-R/RW disc. PROGRAM PLAYBACK
PROGRAM TRACKS Programmingtracksofdiscarepossiblewhenplaybackisstopped.Upto20trackscanbestoredin the memory in any order. 1. In stop mode, press PROG button , the 0andthePROGRAMindicatorwillbeflashingonandoffonthedisplay. 2. PressCDSKIP/SEARCHFORWARDbuttontoselectthefirstdesiredtracktobeprogrammed. 3. PressPROGbuttontoenter.Thedisplaychangestoshow0anditwillbeflashing. 4. Repeatsteps2&3tostoreotherdesiredtracksuntilalltracksareprogrammed. 5. PressPLAY/PAUSEbuttontostartplaybackfromthefirstprogrammedtrack. 6. PressSTOPbuttontostopprogramplayback. Note:Programfunctioncanonlybedoneinstopmode. To Erase the Memory(Program) Tocleartheprogram,youmayhavetwoways: 1. Press STOP button when the disc is stopped, or 2. OpentheCDcompartmentlid,programwillbeerased.

MAINTENANCE
CLEANING A CD IftheCDskipsorwillnotplay,thediscmayneedcleaning .Beforeplaying,wipethediscfromthecentreoutwitha cleaningcloth.Afterplaying,storethediscinitscase. CLEANING THE UNIT Donotusevolatilechemicalsonthisunit.Cleanbylightly wipingwithasoftcloth. IMPORTANT NOTE Ifanabnormaldisplayindicationoranoperatingproblem occurs, disconnect the AC power cord and remove the batteries. Wait at least 5 seconds, then reconnect the AC power cord or reinstall the batteries. WARNING ShouldtheCDdoorbeopenedbeforethereadingoftheCD iscompleted,ajammingnoisemayoccur.Thisisresolved byclosingtheCDdoor.
CLEANING THE CD LENS If the CD lens is dusty, clean it with a brush-blower. Blow several times on the lens and remove the dust with the brush.Fingerprintsmayberemovedwithacottonswab moistened with alcohol.
