Connect one end of a UTP Category 5 cable to the Voice Enabler's Uplink port. Connect the other end of the cable to the appropriate port on the back of your router, switch or hub (which is connected to the Internet). The Crossover Switch (X II) toggles the Uplink port between crossover mode (X) and straightthrough mode (II). See the diagram below to determine the position the switch should be in for your situation. Pressing the Reset Button and holding it in for a few seconds will clear all of the Voice Enabler's data and restore the factory defaults. By resetting the Voice Enabler, you run the risk of creating conflicts between your PCs' actual IP Addresses and what the Voice Enabler thinks their IP Addresses should be.
