The Linksys 1000BaseSX SC Fiber Module complements your network while increasing the value in your investment by adding functionality to your switch. Using the standard SC fiber optic connector and multimode fiber cables, the 1000BaseSX SC Fiber Module allows speeds up to 1000Mbps. In full duplex mode you'll get potential bandwidth up to an amazing 2000Mbps! You can connect multiple switches separated by distances of up to 550 meters (1804 feet). And it's so easy to set up! Simply insert the Fiber Module into an available expansion slot on your PC22224, PC22604, or EF1704 switch, tighten the thumbscrews, connect with the appropriate fiber optic cable and you're up and running.
