Important: For your safety, set up the system before plugging it into a power source. 1. Before attaching the cables to the subwoofer, position the two front satellite speakers on either side of your computer monitor about the same distance from each other as from you. Angle them to face you. Place the precision control center within easy reach. Place the rear left and right satellite speakers behind you and about the same distance apart as the front speakers. Position the front center channel speaker on top of your monitor or on your desk in-between your monitor and keyboard. For best sound quality, place the subwoofer on the floor beneath your desk. Be sure to maintain at least 6 inches of spacing around the subwoofer to allow for adequate ventilation. 2. Insert the colored plug from each satellite speaker into the corresponding colored jacks on the back of the subwoofer. 3. Insert the D-sub cable from the precision control center into the corresponding connector on the back of the subwoofer and tighten the screws. 4. A. If you have a PC and a: · 6, 7 or 8 channel (5.1, 6.1 or 7.1) sound card: Connect all 4 colored plugs from the audio input cable to the color-coded jacks on the sound card. If the jacks on your soundcard are not color coded, plug the audio input as follows: · green to front L/R (or #1) · black to rear L/R (or #2) · orange to center / sub (or #3) · pink to mic input (or #4) · 4-channel sound card: Connect the green plug from the audio input cable to your sound card's front jack and the black plug to your sound card's rear jack. Plug the pink cable into the mic input jack. Do not use the orange plug.

· 2-channel sound card: Connect the green plug from the audio input cable to the "line out" jack on your sound card. Plug the pink cable into the mic input jack. Do not use the black or orange plugs. With a 2-channel sound card you will not hear sound from the rear speakers unless you activate Matrix mode. B. If you have a video game console, or other stereo RCA device: · Connect the red and white RCA audio cables from your video game console to the RCA audio jacks on the back of the subwoofer. Plug the subwoofer's power cord into an electrical outlet and power on the system by depressing the power/standby button.

Access these controls on the precision control center: System Volume While idle, this knob adjusts the overall system volume. This knob is also used to adjust additional levels. B. Level This button allows you to adjust the following levels: system volume, subwoofer volume, rear volume, and center channel volume. Press the level button to scroll through the options and use the system volume knob to adjust the levels. Subwoofer Adjusts the bass level of the subwoofer. Rear Adjusts the volume level of the rear speakers. Center Adjusts the volume level of the center channel speaker. C. Power/Standby Toggles between power on and standby mode. D. Matrix Surround Sound Toggles between Matrix gaming mode, Matrix music mode and off. Use this button when you want to create 5.1 surround sound from 2-channel stereo sources like music and video game consoles. A.

Headphone/Headset Jacks If using only headphones, plug the headphone jack into the headphone connector on the precision control center. When headphones are plugged into the G51 system, the speakers will mute automatically for private listening. If using a headset, plug the headphone jack into the headphone connector and the microphone jack into the microphone connector on the precision control center. F. Audio Mute Turns on/off mute for the system audio. When headphones are plugged in, the audio will mute in the headphones. Note: When using headphones to listen to a surround sound game or movie only the front left and right audio signals can be heard. To mix all 6 channels into the headphones, you will need to change your audio output to 2-channel stereo in your game or movie application. G. Microphone Mute Turns on/off mute for the microphone plugged into the headset jack. E.

DOLBY® DIGITAL AND DTS®
The G51 speakers support Dolby® Digital and DTS® sound on your PC if your 6-channel or greater sound card or DVD software can decode a Dolby® Digital or DTS® soundtrack. ENGLISH
USING THE MOD SYSTEM
You can customize the satellite speakers by adding your own artwork. To add your own artwork to the speakers: 1. Visit www.logitech.com/G51skins to download and install the G51 Skin software. 2. Open the software and import the image you want to print. 3. Make any necessary adjustments to the image. 4. Print the image on any standard or photo paper. 5. Cut out the image using the provided lines as a guide. 6. Remove the screws and the wings on the sides of each satellite speaker. 7. Gently lift off the clear plastic cover. 8. Place your artwork on top of the satellite speaker. 9. Gently cover the artwork with the clear plastic cover. 10. Screw the wings back onto the sides of each satellite speaker. Do not over-tighten.

PLACING YOUR SPEAKERS ON TOP OF A FLAT-PANEL LCD MONITOR
The center channel speaker can be mounted on top of a flat-panel LCD monitor. Swivel the center channel base back and make sure the lip under the front of the speaker is touching the front of the LCD monitor. Then, swivel the base back until it is touching the back of the LCD monitor and tighten the hinge screw for a secure fit (do not over-tighten).

MOUNTING YOUR SPEAKERS TO THE WALL
Your Logitech® G51 speaker satellites are wall mountable. First, remove the screw on the bottom of the speaker stand. Then, swivel the satellite base to desired position and reinsert the screw on the bottom of the speaker stand (do not over-tighten). Use the notch on the base of the stand to hang your speaker on appropriate wall anchors.

Logitech Hardware Product Limited Warranty. Logitech warrants that your Logitech hardware product shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for two (2) years, beginning from the date of purchase. Except where prohibited by applicable law, this warranty is nontransferable and is limited to the original purchaser. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary under local laws. Remedies. Logitech's entire liability and your exclusive remedy for any breach of warranty shall be, at Logitech's option, (1) to repair or replace the hardware, or (2) to refund the price paid, provided that the hardware is returned to the point of purchase, or such other place as Logitech may direct, with a copy of the sales receipt and/or local warranty card.
